S/M: In the event - AND ONLY IN THE EVENT - that PM should provide us investors with news that:

1. SL is a duster and
2. WH will not be drilled this year (2018)

I would humbly accept the fact that PM's management failed to deliver on it's plans and commitments.

HOWEVER:

I sincerely believe that will not be the case.

1. I don't believe SL is a duster
2. I believe that WH will be drilled this year.

Let's see - won't be long to find out.

Every investor has a plan and it seems pointless to discuss whether that is good or bad because it's a decision every investor makes individually - something like a question of taste.
Value erosion is part of the game - it happens all the time and shouldn't make an experienced investor nervous.

From my modest POV: What matters is company's potential and its management's ability to exploit that potential. If you believe one or even both of those criteria are unfulfilled then there's no point in investing.

So where does the communication part fit in? If PM's short term sp development were important or even critical to my investment plan I would be disappointed - because they're not telling me what the daily/weekly etc. status is. Fortunately, that type of information is not critical to my investment plan. That's why I'm sitting tight - even if SL is not the success we all hoped for.

Bobtree - Allowing an "advocate" like B/H to reason your post is hardly in your interest.

Bobtree: Don't understand your complaint. Pls elaborate on the "small PIs taking the hit". In particular, tell us how you (as a small PI) would have avoided the "hit" you claim if you were informed like everybody else? That seems to be another one of those short termer issues.

ERIC: I heard that and fully agree:

The only ones continuously criticizing PM's communication are the short termers. All they know is playing the ups and downs prior to results - irrespective if those comms make sense or not.

Looks like PM - under Mike Buck's management - is nothing for you guys.

Guess you'd rather have that old management under Dougie back right? He did a bang-up communication job making investors believe PM was a huge success (before striking oil - which never happened) and made sure those investors lost most of their money. But that appears to be a "quantité negligable" for the short termer investors.

Once again we take note of some posters' trashing on this board. We don't know why but it all appears to be emotionally driven (envy? hard feelings? hidden agendas? investment failures? - who knows!).
What we do know is that the trashing makes no sense at all - and only discredits the respective posters.

The way I see it there's a lot of wiggle room in the reporting department for exploration companies; i.e. they've got plenty of tolerance when it comes to "regulatory reporting requirements".

I tend to agree that news which the market perceives as "bad" is priced in. Consequently, I wouldn't expect to see a negative impact to the SP of over 5% at the end of the trading day.

However, on good news you can be sure to expect a lot more to the upside.

Clearly if the market today would display the same sentiment as 1 1/2 years ago - particularly considering the drill program - the SP wouldn't be hanging around 8p. But there you have it! To me it looks a lot like PM has lost a lot of investor confidence - and there's basically only one thing that can regain it: STRIKING OIL!

Well Superman - need to agree with Manro as far as his statement underlines the craziness of AIM.

Bottom line (Dec 2016 - Febr 2047): Nobody really knows why the SP took off the way it did. PM even issued a RNS at the time saying they see no justification for the rise.

I guess there were some "leftover" hopes (from 2010/2011) that the drill scheduled for July 2017 would finally make all dreams come true and everybody wanted in soonest possible. Don't forget that the number of shares in issue at the time were about half of what we have today.
What happened afterwards is history (which I hope you know about).

(prtdf) is trading at +8.36% (+ 1c) - at a whopping volume of (currently) 52k shares! Guess that's nothing to write home about.

Although it hardly would make any difference I don't believe that news on SL will be announced on Sept 20. In a way it would seem unfair to confront the AGM participants AGM with - possibly - unexpected information as that would look like an attempt to prevent the participants to prepare for unpleasant questions.

Fundy - you seem to be as vain and thin-skinned as another poster on this board. Always claiming "I've always seen it coming, I warned you"- great advice, we're all very greatful.

Apart from spreading fear - as usual - is there anything positive you can contribute to this board? I.e. where do you see any chances for this company (and its shares) to make progress? Or is it all just doom and gloom?

If you look at all the (short term) investors' feedback regarding the expected SP rise in conjunction with the (originally scheduled) 4 drill campaign in 2018 it appears that nothing - not a single bit - has unfolded as the investors have hoped and predicted. Having that in mind I really wonder whether your 6p prediction is worth anything at all - particularly because none of us seem to understand how the market reacts to PM at this time.

In addition, the current situation looks more like there won't be a "duster" RNS. In all likelyhood we will receive an "oil show" RNS which should positively support the ongoing drilling efforts of PM.
