Fair enough Peterfal! Just remember: "stating the FACTS as I see them" is a contradiction in itself, i.e. there is no such thing. Either you voice your opinion or you state the facts. There's really nothing of value in-between.

Peterfal: I would say you see - at least - the outcome of this specific drill quite realistically. As far as I know, nobody on this board has claimed anything else. But as everyone can see you just can't compare a local lottery with Euro Millions (assuming they had the same chance of winning). As you correctly state the upside here is substantially higher than the downside and higher than your usual bets on AIM - and that's exactly why PIs are so excited about this one (not mentioning the - fully funded - follow up drills in 2019).
So there's no point in repeating the fact that it's a gamble - we all know very well.

However, whether YOU personally "would never bet more than punt money" is a question of how you define "punt money" and it all boils down to the question of how much you can afford to lose. That - I assume - was not meant to be investor advice.

And if it's one and the same buyer he just discreetly added another 700K to his (assumed) holding - until now.

There is no rumour - those kind of posts are not appreciated here.

we PIs would love to see the reasons for today's rise in an information leak; unfortunately, we don't know. Could be that there's simply a shortage on the supply end. I for one am hopeful that there's a leak - and that this SP will finally get back to the levels it's worthy of. Don't get me wrong: A 16% rise is always welcome. However, I am hoping that this rise will continue for sustainable - and not speculative - reasons (we've gone thru the latter several times).

It appears T/B has risen from the depths of … well whatever. I don't see people getting "exited" on this board and can't identify any desperation - but I'll leave that to T/B's wishful thinking which seems to always be going in one negative direction.
What I can say however, is that T/B would like to make us believe in the negatives he is mentioning. I'd truly like to hear something positive from him for a change.
Whatever: Hope T/B feels better when he finds a reason to critisize and that it helps him overcome the issues of his current situation.

but then again: Today we have only started inching our way up into price territory which will remain to be ridiculously low until the market realizes what unbelievable potential this SP has. "Cheap as chips" can hardly describe the entry price at this time.
D1inger, one of the most recognized and knowledgeable LTHs (who rarely comments on this board) made the following statement last Saturday:

D1inger: "I never thought that the opportunity to invest here at these prices would ever be available again".

Just FYI: D1inger and I have been communicating on this board since mid 2016 when PM's sp was below 2p.

D1inger's statement will live on until the SP reflects the true potential and value of PM.

Victor: It appears that hardly anyone on this board understands what you are trying to achieve here. Being negative and critical only makes sense if you explain why that should be and that (if you were actually invested) you would rather like to see PM and its SP to develop positively. Should you have any positive sentiments towards PM I can assure you that none of it is coming across. So if you enjoy your role as stinker and knocker on this board then be my guest and continue with it; but if you have any self respect: why don't you just admit that you enjoy your role?

Hawkspear: I had a hunch I was on the low end of the probability scale - and btw - I know who you mean.

bigbench: Seems to me most people prefer to "invest" in lottery tickets with a 1 : 10,000,000 (or less) chance to win.

PM is by far the better gamble - no doubt. Our lone voices in the AIM wilderness seem to have no effect on those peeps.

Manro: I'm just observing what is and has been going on. There's nothing pessimistic about that - just being realistic. If you look at the numbers you will realize that today's closing will not hold up tomorrow - fairly simple. Like all - or at least most - LTHs I like to see the SP rise although it's still far away from any price I would be willing to sell at. As some poster mentioned recently we shouldn't be worried about the current SP deterioration as the SP will clearly rise - 2019 at the latest. I clearly concur. However, even LTHs will admit that they prefer a SP recuperation - particularly when it's stuck at these levels.

Yeah - but based on what? Weird numbers on the grid. Confusing and far from reliable: The SP will (unfortunately) fall back to 5.6p when trading opens tomorrow - as we've seen several times before.

Well then why isn't the sp @2p (or even less)? Or wasn't PM a gamble @ 10,15, 20, 25, 30, 35 or even 38p?
So which AIM shares aren't a gamble?

I find it extremely difficult to understand why people consider selling their shares at these - or even higher - levels makes any sense at all: Is the end of the world in sight? Jeez, must have overlooked something!

Proselenes: You've mentioned the reasons for the change in drill schedule earlier on and - for me - it makes perfects sense. We need to accept that exploration drilling is not done in an ideal world and that PM's operations need to adapt to the circumstances. What's important though is that Mike and his people are doing their best to make things happen while being forced to adjust their plans to the obstacles of (regulatory and corporate) reality.

jndavid490: So true what you say: As long as you stick with it you don't lose. Only when you decide to sell at a price lower than your average purchase price you will lose - but not before. That is the advantage of being an LTH - which BTW is pretty much considered to be an alien concept on AIM. With shares like PM you can easily take the stance that the price will rise. When? Hard to tell. But only when you decide to sell you will know you've made a loss or a profit.
