- like some of the posters here - I would say: we are making good progress!

This was another one of those days which - well you know what I mean.

The SP downfall just doesn't add up, no (normal) rationale behind any of the selling - to me it looks like desperados are at work. Whatever the case may be: Nobody is scaring me off. This will turn around when everybody (but me) has given up hope. No sir - you can't scare me off! From my modest POV: It's much too late to sell at this point. It can only get a lot better - even it it takes some more time.

As Hamm mentioned earlier today: "What does it matter unless you're a trader?". Completely agree! However, even LTHs are interested in why the heck these sell-offs are happening. Personally I don't give too much of a sh*t - particularly when the trading volume is so low; what I would be concerned about of is a mass hysteria - which was not displayed today.

But then again the negative sentiment of the market is (currently) coming out on top - I would prefer it were the other way around.

Hamm: Seems that the bets are currently on the duster. We'll just have to wait and see.

You shouldn't think B/H - that's obviously not your strength.

B/H: Don't really understand what you're getting at or trying to achieve - but your post does make the impression of a frustrated man.
If at all possible: Try to be specific with your criticism or - even better - contribute something positive - it may be a new experience!

ShinFalls: This is just another one of those "not very encouraging trading days" - at least until now. These days have the ability to pull you down - at least temporarily. Since Jan/Feb 2017 the market's sentiment towards PM has changed dramatically and none of us anticipated that it would be so extreme. I guess this change is self inflicted to a large extent. Can't change that - it is how it is.

But don't despair: You're not the last man standing. There's at least one more around and I'm sure there are more. Clearly that doesn't make your situation any better but it should help you feel confident that not everybody is bailing out. These are the situations which test us all. Being stubborn and holding on may not be clever but it sure beats the chicken run.
Conclusion: For me personally: This is a make or break operation. And to be honest: I don't believe the shit will hit the fan with PM. But success might take longer than everybody would wish.

ShinFalls: Depending on the outcome of WH-1 PM's SP can be anywhere between 3p and £2 (or a lot more) by the end of May 2019. In other words a guessing game.
My hopes are obviously geared towards £2 or more by then - what else?

Hamm: On this board - and the way things have been developing during the past few months: I don't know anything about any posters "by now". People tend to change their minds. Your respective reference to not yet materialized potential should be known by all LTHs "by now" - so why mention it? Nothing is how it seems, things change daily. I try to adapt to that weird but real situation. I apologize should I have offended you.
So let's just agree on hoping that this WH-1 drill is successful.

Looks like I would have to concur with your analysis - unfortunately. A bitter pill - hoping for a change to the better!

BB - I really, truly and honestly hope you're right!!!

Hamm - I agree as far as your "not materialized" statement is not meant short term. It's easy to invest in a O&G company which has "materialized" the envisaged findings. But it's difficult to get in once the findings are materialized. So take your pick - if you want to be on the safe side: Wait until the good news rolls in and good luck with trying to get in at an acceptable price. Or: you do as the (typical) AIM investors do and take a punt.
It's a question of taste (or "strategy" as the AIM investors would call it).

We currently need to accept the fact that investor (or rather market) confidence in Matad's ability to strike oil has not been restored. If it has - it simply doesn't show. That appears to be a general market sentiment since months which is nothing new. What I consider to be more disturbing is that even a WH-1 drill with such an incredible and life changing potential is hardly being recognized as such by the market. It's hard to believe and disappointing.To me it looks like more investors are chickening out than willing to make a bet on a WH-1 success.
However, that is what the market feels TODAY. This could - and should - easily and immediately change as soon as good news rolls in.
Having said that it seems clear - at least to me - that in the absence of official good news (or leaks!) PM's SP will continue to hover around these ridiculously low levels. I am honestly hoping that Mike Buck will live up to his outstanding track record as a master in oil finding!

Let there be no mistake: This company is worth multiple times of its current mc. Don't invest if you don't want to win (big time).

that the trading day didn't end up in the red! It's hard to believe:

- So much potential!
- So many funded drills in 2019 with even higher COS!
- Total (100%) PM ownership!

And still: Here we are looking at a market cap of £41m and a SP of 6.2p. This is difficult to grasp.

But then again: Welcome back to reality - at least for the time being. Let's just quickly bow our heads and humbly hope that WH-1 is a winner. At the same time we proudly take note of the upcoming 4 drills; 2 of which are appraisal drills. A single hit with just one of those will catapult the SP into much higher spheres.

Many of us are LTHs - we know how it is to suffer. We can even take some more if necessary. However, I am hardly the only one to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

IABA: I see you've been - as opposed to me - a smart and successful investor. I admit I should've done the same at the time. But it is how it is; I'm extremely lucky to say that - even today - I'm still about 110% in the green/blue. My intention is, however, to go for far more. For me this is a make or break operation. I'm in this for the big gain (or nothing at all). It may take a while but I believe PM will at one point strike oil and become a successful oil & gas company. When? No idea. We've all seen that these companies need to be funded for their drilling operations. Once they strike oil - funding is no longer a problem. Up to that point all of us are in a "hopeful mode".

1. Check your spelling - pls let me know if you should need help with that.
2. Check the (envisaged) meaning of your post; it appears to be negative but whatever it is you want to say seems uncomprehensible.

rumor bandwagon has left the scene - leaving it up to the chickens and the dumbstruck to determine which direction the SP shall take until we finally hear about the WH-1 drill results.

There are plenty of shareholders willing to sell at these levels. Yesterday, I was actually hopeful that this would/could change. Doesn't seem to be the case.
So we're back to square one: it appears that the SP will hardly "skyrocket" before the good news rolls in - or some "reliable" oil find leaks are able to change the picture.
