IMHO, I am convinced something is cooking, based on my first email reply from IR at the beginning of February where i was informed they were well into the closed period and know almost 3 months later, no update. so i hope they are just putting final touches into something positive. I for one am not going to be selling my shares any time soon, sold RR and IAG far to early

I would think that one of the things the board will have to consider regarding the sale of the US operation is the collapse of the Dollar verses Sterling in the last few weeks.

These have been running in Coventry for the last 2 years, they are quite reliable from what i have been hearing

My thoughts are announcement of resuts next week and results released the following Tuesday, which i think sounds about right. I believe it will be a positive update on the whole and have taken the opportunity recently to reduce my average down to low 60s.

Its all market bo--ox at the minute, it seems that if you have the slightest presence in the US you are marked down, but none of this should affect Mobico. They need to get results out ASAP which should IMHO show solid growth, then hopefully we start moving up.

I completely agree with you, im also heavily invested into this share and even though the opinion of the Directors is not good, ie they are a bunch of a---holes, i can't help thinking that the final results will be good unless people have suddenly stopped using public transport in the last few months and they have run up a huge debt.

The problem is as i see it, while Homer simpsons brother is in the white house making eratic decisions the markets and share prices are going haywire. just my theory

You are possibly right it may drop more, but the results will have to be released soon because they have to comply with the rules of the closed period as i understand them, unless someone with more knowledge than me knows different.

At the end of the day we are all here for the same thing unless you are shorting of course. Altough you could always cash it all in and go down the casino tonight and put it all on red, which would be quite approprate as Mobico is red every day at the moment.

Hi all , after various emails to IR i have finally had another response from John Dean to say a notice of results will be issued in due course, there was no mention of still being in the closed period from my last email a few weeks ago, i take this to mean announcement in the next few days and hopefully results shortly after.

Although it could just be the official fob off.

I think your right Lara, i'm looking at the long term growth here and £2 in 12 months time would do very nicely, ive taken the opportunity to top up again at these lows

I think its being manipulated this morning, bring it down a bit more so the shorts can exit before results, just my thoughts.

surely the results will show some improvement, but who knows, like everyone else on here just a bit fcuked off with losing money on this share

I emailed John IR a few weeks ago regarding update etc and got an email back from John Dean the same day that said " we are deep in the closed period so could not answer any questions"

I emailed again last Thursday to ask if they were coming to the end of the closed period and have yet not had an answer ?
