The new service contracts that ALSA won for the Catalonia region kick in in Q4 which should add millions in revenue, I spend a lot of time there and the coaches they are always busy, very wealthy region.

I think this was unfairly marked down, the May results were poor but yesterdays update for me was just steady as she goes with FY profit reiterated. The short increase at the end of last week tells its own story and i'm sure some of those have already closed.

This will be back over 30p by early next week, have taken the drop in price as an opportunity to top up again. obviously DYOR

I thought todays results were not to bad to be honest, typical market over reaction at open, they are making good profits, dividend well covered, buyback continues, definitely a hold for me.

You're probably right , they seem a well run company,got quite a bit invested here myself. Tempted to add a few more at this level. The fact that they haven't cancelled the buyback to preserve cash is a good sign.

I can't understand the share price movement at the moment, just seems like a steady drift lower, hoping its just a no news and market sentiment thing, i see Morgan stanley have increased there holding and the share buy backs are still on going but still a drop this morning.

Results on Thursday so will have to wait and see, based on industry peers should be OK.

Share price heading back towards 35p, watch for the next short increase🤔

Something very odd going on here, shorts increasing every couple of days and they all seem to be moving in sync, anybody got any thoughts or are we just all hoping they get burned really soon

That was certainly a better finish than i was expecting, shorts working hard to keep the price down and the share price is trying its best to break out.

Lets hope it continues and burns them all, i,ll be watching the open tomorrow with interest.

I think we would all like the answer to that one, but they are playing a blinder at keeping the price down unfortunately

Only 3 days left to find out, i'm also expecting an update on the bridge remedial insurance at the same time along with updated forward guidance.

Well we finally have the date for final results, historically 1 month later then usual, however i had read recently that they would be i bit later because there was a pre close update at the end af April.

I'm hoping for good things to be said re orders bridge remedial work insurance payments etc, the market seems to view it favourably this morning already back over 40p. GLA

I'm not worried, it means we can all buy back in a little bit lower with the dividend on Monday, but I would imagine with all the auto divi reinvestments set it will push the price up.

Not that i'm complaining but I just want it both ways buy my shares lower before it goes back up :-)

Hi Trek on that subject it was nice to see Assura agree to a merger with PHP today through invester pressure rather than being sold to KKR on the cheap, so i am only interested in income here as many others are, it also shows that we investers can sometimes stop bad decisions by the board.

I don't coment to often but i have to say firepower at the moment you have called it right on the share price but from the posts of yours that i have read you have done so without any real explanation other than its just a bad investment and to be fair a broken clock is right twice a day. I have lost a good chunk on this share and sold out a lot of my holding at a loss some of which i have since recouped elseware.

Mobico is not going t-ts up the fundametals are there ALSA and wedriveu are performing well, once the debt provisions are sorted the School bus cash is in the bank things will move back up but i certainly dont expect my remaining holding to go to zero, it is more likely to double by next Year

Was expecting a little consolidation this morning, but pleased to see that it opened above 40p, i think the positive update from costain yesterday certainly helped the general sentiment towards infrastructure companies and hopefully a positive update will move this up more, can't find a date yet but should be this month unless someone knows different

Nice move up this morning, always makes you think you should have bought more last week, never mind done that before only to watch it evaporate.

However i think this is still a long way short of fair value.

Have seen this a few times, final tree shake so the shorts can close out at a respectable level before the move back up, all be it slowly

I noticed that, 25% votes against jorge cosman to remain on the board, large investors trying to make a move perhaps, as you say could get interesting moving forward, trouble is that us PI's have to wait for an RNS and by that time it has already happened.

The MM's and institutions control the narative and they always will.

They are normally towards the end of June
