SP 4-5p?1 Jul 2019 18:03
Yes we did decide not to buy any more at the time as we did wonder if the price would be pushed further down from 7.5p When it was 12p did we expect to go under 7p? No we did not. Otherwise we would have been selling to buy back at a lower price. but if it went to 4-5p then we would come back in regardless. We also indicated we hoped it would NOT go to 4-5p and that we would probably have to buy back in around 8-9p. At the time we felt we were better putting that months money in to other ITs for better value, which has proved us right following their price increase. As far as FFWD was concerned it was a far bigger % of our portfolio than we liked, or ever had before (something we had said on here) regardless of its potential.
Everyone has their own portfolio and can decide which they want to increase their holdings in. Like us people have to make their own decision and live with it. We did mention recently that we had added to Workplace following its fall and big discounted NAV , after we added it went further down, (which again we commented on) but is now above the price we added at. You rarely buy at the lowest point or sell at the highest. We did miss out on adding FFWD at 8-9p owing to have been hospitalised. Our next purchase looks like (but not certain to be) being WPCT once we feel it has bottomed out, with a big discount to the approximate NAV.
You buy your stock and take your chance. That is why we like I.Ts which give us a good coverage of all sectors in our portfolio. with the biggest lean to emerging countries and small cap stock I.Ts. We all have our preferences.
Some of you with very big holdings in FFWD must be a little relieved at the rally and richer.
12p, is our guess that is probably break even for most of you (ours is less), while some must be in profit very soon, if not already, when brave enough to buy large quantities at 7-7.5p
Lets just hope the results , when they come, do not disappoint, then we will all be happy little bunnies.
Following the posts we read on here we kept adding to FFWD after we looked at the potential, and most certainly did not complain when we lost 33% of our investment. In the end it was our choice.
