Just looked in and see it has reversed towards the 5p range. when every one appears to buy in at.
So much value everyone says in this, the news you put forward all looks good. so why no one interested? Is it this fake news we keep hearing about? or is it the bargain of the decade. Are we throwing good money after bad? Good news and it goes up about 15% then quickly reverses as the sellers come in.
Ah well we are sticking with it and wonder if some of you lot have actually sold out!

£15000 invested after hours, someone must have a lot of faith or know more than everyone else, but perhaps just trying to level out and hoping it will pick up.

Then we may still be throwing good money after bad with this IT whatever we buy it at even 1p, as Toast suggests. This is a loser we are afraid to say. Just hopeful there may be something of value here. Lets see what happens with new management and we assume a new name and focus.
Better at the moment to add to our FFWD IT where there is a proven NAV nearly double the SP with some of their investments joining the Nasdaq at the end of this year or next year.

We are the same, from 42p we thought of adding to our very very small holding, as we mentioned a few days ago.
We may even see 20ps and even 10ps before it stops going down.
However as we may have said before, there must be some value in the companies they are invested in so at what point do we reinvest? If the NAV is 40p then there could be a nice profit eventually.
We were under the impression that the NAV was calculated by an independent company, but that may be a laugh.

It is a guessing game to a certain extent, however these companies may have a total NAV value in them that is well above the SP.
At what stage you buy again is again guesswork. We only had a small holding in the IT which has about halved in value. To be honest we WILL buy more unless there is a dramatic amount of bad news, but we will only buy when it has settled and moved up a notch or two. New management and the NAV being confirmed as about correct will have us adding. We could easily have added at 43p but we waited to see if more sellers bought the price down, which they did. We do not know what it will be when we add, it can easily be in the 20s or even the 10s. All depends on when the sellers stop. There has to be value there and buying at around the bottom will see you at least double your money. The fact the fund is very low does not affect each of the companies it is invested in, they will continue to trade and maybe do very well.
It is a gamble and at what stage you make a bet is up to each individual. How often have you looked at the news paper showing highs and lows and though, "why did I not buy at that very low price?" buying at the bottom or around it with every company will make you money, buying at the top will see you often lose money initially.

6.996p to buy
No one willing to pay over 7p at the moment, so those thinking that will wait for a few more sales to again bring the price down. If no further Good news some will lose patience and sell down to 6.5p

Just looked in briefly. following a tip off.
You were usually pretty well spot on Matador78 about what you said in the past and although we may be old and a little slow, reading what you wrote, (we were told to read the your latest posts as they were of interest), are you actually saying that if Emmac converts the 50p holding, then 62.5p is added to NAV of FFWD or is the Emmac share price worth 62.5p more.
The news either way did not attract much buying interest, so we must have miss under stood it completely .
We look at trades most days and on looking today we fail to understand how the trade at 8.34 was listed as a buy when the 8.34 trader paid LESS (albeit a small amount) than the 8.10 trade although buying around 12 times the quantity , but on the other hand it was still higher than expected if it was a sale. Again we appear still to be at the situation where indicated buys and sells are not reliable as too which they are, as with many other penny stocks.
Apparently you all have been pretty quite with your posts of late, with only posts of interest being generally added, these we have been told about by a little bird.
Also we are led to believe there has been very little abuse and bullying of other posters, which we are delighted to hear, as abuse and bullying of others really is not on, (even with anonymous people), with both of them being stamped out in sport and life in general. We stopped reading the FFWD posts a while back when some of you were well over the top in criticising others in very rude terms as they said things you did not like or you thought were stupid. Items of real interest though have though been past on to us.

We still aim to sell our holding for a £1 a share. so gradually transferring them to ISA's. Some news will light up the stock for a limited period of time and it is then we will sell most of our holding and rebuy it after the drop from £1 per share. Don't laugh, a lot of you thought it was silly when a drop to under 6p was forcasted.

Re BBC Scotland business
While the wicked witch of the north is in power very few will be attracted to come to Scotland to pay higher taxes than the rest of the UK and then also have to PAY around £480 pa to park in their companies parking spaces for employees.

You are more or less correct, but if our memories serve us correctly this is not any better than when we began trading well over 54 years ago. In fact we feel we knew if a trade was a buy or sell then, BUT as with the weather which was much better 65 years ago with long hot summers, memories play tricks.
As is pointed out in other posts, in this age of big brother who knows every move we make, why can the MMs not state if it is a buy or sale.
We now only invest in I.Ts with the odd exception when a sector is well down as we fear there is more shenanigan's than there use to be.
As for this trust it looks really tempting and we are 50-50 as to whether to put this months investment money in to this or FFWD plus IIT and BGS are investments we would also like to add to for the long term.
FFWD has proven NAV of 80% above the SP while WPCT has a dubious NAV. But with a large % of our total investments in FFWD we think we will add to WPCT very soon.

We omitted to say they base whether it is a sale or buy by the mid price at the time. So if it is below the mid price they call it a sale and above they call it a buy. So with a mid price of 35.3 trades of 35 and 35.259 are usually listed as sales as the 35.259 is below the mid price but it is in fact usually a purchase.

Beware of the string of "buys" as a number will in fact be sales. This happens a lot, If you see a buy at say 35.4 then the next buy of a similar quantity is 35.1 it is probably a sale. MMs will not reduce the price for the next purchase of a similar quantity. This may be followed by buys of 35.3 then 35 .6 followed buy a buy of 35.2 which again is more likely to be a sale although listed as a buy.
The reverse happens with a long list of sales. We have known this for certain when we purchased some FFWD amid a load of sales. Although we paid just above the last sale ours was still listed as a sale.
This is a generalisation but is usually correct. So just follow the price of the trade.

As we have previously indicated the NAV is a guess with a lot of the companies invested in.
The only way to wind up the fund is to gradually sell the holdings over a long period of time. Trying to sell all at once only produces a fire sale.
Honestly feel it would be better to continue with the fund under a new manager who would sell bits and pieces of the unwanted companies and reinvest in more stable companies, eventually gaining the trust of both the holders and new investors in the fund.
That way patience will see the price rise and buyers at the low point will make a big gain or they will even out, if an existing holder.

You are perfectly correct about buying now if it is wound up. However we feel it is not likely to be wound up, but continue with a new manager eventually. Although the odds are evens for both continue or wound up to be fair. We were just saying that it could keep retreating and buying later may produce a bigger return. It is all guess work. If it goes to 35p bid we would buy some more if the NAV is unchanged. We actually priced our new purchase at 40p. So for us it will be on a whim when we buy or the fact we want to use some of the new investment money up. Hopefully, we do buy more before it is wound up.

We bought in last year with only a small investment, now is it time to add. With the NAV at a so called over 50% above the SP it may be OK to buy. BUT the majority do not want to buy so regardless of the NAV it will continue to drift. Where to is anyone's guess, so We will continue to watch it. When it was 40p not long ago there was a little bit of buying up tp 45p approx. Then back it came, we were almost tempted at 41 but held back. so even if it goes to 35p and a rebound follows to 40p it will again retreat more likely. Only short term buying when it drops 15% and then selling at a small profit is probably what happened then and may do again. So until it gets to a level it will not go past for a sustained period of time, long term investment is not on the cards yet. So we shall just sit and watch before adding to our holding. A new manager will get it rising about 20 % or 25% below NAV is our guess. Every one is watching and waiting. Very Similar To FFWD where the NAV is nearly double the share price. At least WPCT can only drop another 40p!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The lower it goes the more profit those who bought in at the bottom will make .

See it has dropped back slightly but it could have been worse. We did hope more buyers would have come in this week to push the SP to around 8p. The longer it goes after any a good news revival, the more chance of a decline. Back down to lower 6p will get the buyers in along with the remains of the sellers as it gets to 7p, who will contradict their efforts, how many of those sellers there will be is anyone's guess. As for buying, only low 6p will attract us at the present, with no signs of new buyers and a SP price increase.
We must await for the IPO's (if they materialise) and hope we are not waiting in vain. No possibility of the BOD selling all and returning the money to its shareholders for their benefit. Not that we think that is a good idea.
It is a simple fact, NO ONE LIKES LET ALONE LOVES FFWD. until they do we must either sell and take our loss (which should only be done if you really need the money) or be patient. At least the NAV is well above the SP. For the SP to reach 10p we feel the NAV will have to be in the region of 16p.
No point going on and on in the chat room . Either get out or shut up and be patient.
Following an operation on one of us last Thursday we both have a week of Docs, nurses and Hospitals in front of us this week.
Now be pleasant to each other and only post items of interest, not that we will be looking. We will judge when we next start buying and doubt we will not give any advance warning of it.

We will continue to get drop backs as those who see the price rise think "we will get out now its gone up" but still selling at a loss.
Plus those who bought in very cheap and taking a quick small profit, instead of holding on for the big money.

If there is more silly selling, lower 6p ask may attract us again, but we do hold a lot, for us, already.

Hopefully any good RNS postings will add to the buying spree stimulus.
