AT LAST20 Dec 2019 13:10
We have always had faith, but probably like most of you did wonder at times if anyone would buy FFWD to push the price up.
AT LAST we did it right with 3 buys at under and slightly above 6p a couple of days ago, as we did have faith. However we did question whether we were correct in buying, questioning our mentality. Hopefully we did the right thing.
Years ago we made a lot of money buying Perpetual I & G warreats at 10p with the stock at 110p and 10 years for the warrants to run before expiry giving us the right to buy the stock at £1. That seemed a massive bargain at the time, which it turned out to be with the stock reaching around £2 when we sold the warrants around 110p. We actually had the warrants in paper form and had to use a massive box to send them to the broker.
The point being FFWD is a stock which can make us a lot of money again (probably our last chance) by buying it cheap (5.7 to 6.9). No doubt there will be drops in the SP on the way up, but if there are 3 IPOs or asset sales we could be looking at 55p a share eventually.
We were just going to make a small profit on our holdings at the end of this year, allowing for FFWD to be around 6p but any upside could see us making our normal 10 -15% or more this year.
All thanks (well nearly all) to the research some of you undertook. Without your information we would have been buying at 5 - 7p to level out. With your information we bought 4-5 times the amount we would have done. So thank you very much.
Wish you would all stop niggling at each other, but guess you will start to pat each others back now and let bygone be bygones .
Not quite sure why the sudden upturn with no news that was not already available (was it that interview confirming the NAV is about 21p)
The MMs have let the price rise this time, so do they know that there are no more (or very little) of that bulk disposal left?
On that point we did wonder had someone died with that large holding going to relatives and they knew nothing about the stock and just wanted to sell it and split the money between themselves as per the will. A very good doctor friend of ours has just died and his relatives are selling off all his assets. So we just wondered.
Lets hope the SP remains stable and you have all have covered your investments or there about as a Christmas present.
