SPECIAL DIV5 Feb 2020 18:17
Personally prefer the share price to rise and sell some to cover costs from the ISAs we hold with just FFWD in them. We prefer no more dividends because income will attract the tax man and we have enougth dividends this year already.
We do understand why some prefer Dividend though. ,
One of you have just said it could go nearer a £ if all come good. Then the ISAs will really pay off. but think that is just ideal dreams, something at our age we know very rarely occurs.
Someone also said getting even would feel like a victory. Well, we do sympathise with you if you are a long way away from that point, as we have been in that situation with other shares in the past. They did come good eventually and so will this one for you.
It must be annoying for those seeing buying opportunities arise with the drop in the FFWD SP but are unable for various reasons to take advantage of it to lower their average. Again a situation we have been in.
38p would be nice for us. Then we can buy that other bungalow.
Getting back to reality we do need some good healthy buying for any reason.
Sat on here fiddling and looking for IT bargains while awaiting the district nurse. We did sell half of our Chinese ITs about 3 weeks ago, at least did something right. They will also come back up,though, but trebled our investment on them.
Crystal Amber and Aberdeen New Thai are attracting us. Lindsell Train may be worth a little punt if it drops to £1000 - £1100 along with old favourite to recover IIT.
Take care all.
