We do enjoy keeping some of you amused at our expense, but while you have a go at us (as we have previously said) you are not upsetting some poor soul who may take your comments to heart. Some we think (and only think) have left the board because of some comments they received, which is unfortunate.
People have laughed at us with our lateral thinking over the years while feeling they are so clever themselves but the majority of the time what we say comes true.
We have found some of your information very very useful for which we are truly grateful and to date is making us a decent profit on FFWD and so will some of the charities we give to who will also be very grateful if it all comes good, 50-60p is a good possibility with the £ looking a bit nearer than it was a few months ago.
You should not have spells of having a go at each other because that stops you researching and posting the good information you find on here for our benefit.
We have been continuing our investing in under priced stocks. After all you cannot rely on just one stock.
We took good profit from PMO and DTY in the last week or so and still hold a few in DTY. Both of which we will re enter once we feel that have hit bed rock. We hold around four dozen that hopefully will eventually double, treble or even quadruple our investment, a handful have gone nowhere to date but that is to be expected. We note that some of you have investments in other AIM stocks, but we avoid AIM these days as overall we got no profit from it and in fact incurred losses so we just stick generally with small FTSE companies, we are not clever enough to sort out the good AIM ones. Cine, MCRO and BT are recent additions to our stable over the last month. while WKP is a disappointment to date but will with luck pick up and if it does we will invest more in to it.
Come in here to get away from the pills etc. and rabbit on to you lot. Remember if you hate what we say DO NOT READ IT. Ah well feel a bit better now, unfortunately had both the Doc and ambulance in over the weekend, district nurse today and doctor later this week. Got our value from the seven shillings and eleven pence national insurance stamp we paid each week for years. (think they call it value investing!!!!
The investing keeps the mind active as we cannot do physical things any longer, over the 50 odd years we have invested only one thing is constant, forget all the hours of research, so much turns out to be false, (unless some one else is doing it for you, and you sort the chaff from the wheat) just stick to selling at the top and buying at the bottom, it is easier that way. Stock market crashes bring wonderful opportunities.
Take care all of you, still reading this? have you nothing better to do, and do not get so serious take advantage of your good health and stay happy before it is to late.
