Indeed @Zoom. It's worth remembering that there were initially plans for two mines, the Southern one being 100% in the JV area. These were merged into a single mining plan, but from what I can see it would still make economic sense to mine from both simultaneously, meeting in the middle, due to the layout of the pits: less earth to move! For those who haven't seen this, it's worth a read through the post and comments in the light of Ganfeng's requirements and consequent Sonora expansion plans!

Once the Amapa deal is done (got to be imminent now!) and Ganfeng is authorised to take a controlling share, and potentially 100% of BCN, I'm sure we'll hear much more about our Sonora prospects! I don't know about anyone else, but Lithium prices and futures are starting to make my eyes water, and yet we remain mostly under the radar from what I can see! :-)))
