Heavily invested in Lloy and RBS. My next investment is BARC - stunning set of results - if anyone doesnt think so they are thick. What I really liked was if I am right the fact that the £1.4 billion for PPI wont be recurring next year. Other things I liked:
Increase in pre tax profit
NAV per share
Dividend

£54 million reward for failure.
Ocado makes a quarter of a billion loss and guess what your leader gets a reward of £54 million. Personally I think you lot are barking mad! Delusional shareholders investing in a share overvalued by £12.00. NAV dwindling!

Yes - like I continue to say fintech are competing with banks that have significant advantages. They are ten a penny.

N26 bites the dust in UK!

Does anyone read all the warnings? The quick buck brigade will soon disappear. There is something very dodgy about this company. It will trade for scrap value soon.

Chas. Its not the end of capitalism. To build all those houses, they will have to thread very carefully. Deincentivising business is probably the worst move they could make.

Chas. Its fundamentally undervalued. the share price is on 4 x earnings. I certainly won't be selling and I have a wedge of money coming that will be invested in fundamentally undervalued companies. People are hyping all these fintech arrivals. There are 100s of them and they are ALL LOSS MAKING. Iooked at Revoluts annual report - the losses are staggering. You can't run a capital intensive business on no margin. Besides BOI outspend all of them on IT and it has a branch network for businesses to lodge cash.... the hype will soon drift.

Oversold a month and a half ago

CRAZY LOW VALUATIONS! 4-5 X EARNINGS. UNPRECEDENTED. To be honest, I don't think Sinn Fein will be aiming to sink the economy. They sabre rattle, but if they sink the kill the golden goose, that will be them out of power for another 100 years.

Ocado - loss £215 million. NAV per share of c70p. Share price: £12.00 +
Aviva - profit > £2,000 million. NAV per share of £4.24. Share price: £4.11

Terrible update. Losses accelerating. A great company to deliver food and make no money. NAV per share barely a £1.... I can't understand how this company is investible at 12-13 x NAV. There are companies out there trading at less than NAV with much better dividends....

I am in despair this morning that the highest vote in Ireland is for a party that's history has been one of violence and savagery. That the highest % of people would vote for them makes my blood boil. In NI, we have a big vote for another party that care nothing about most of the people. People want Sinn Fein to solve the housing crisis. Well, first, they've got to solve the drug crisis, Dublin us over run with it.... we've got a big problem with homelessness in Belfast - but housing is entirely affordable. A lot of the issues are not affordability.

Awards are for successful companies Masa. A successful company is one that grows its revenue and profits and tries to improve productivity. This is then reflected in its share price. On all of those counts, Royal Mail is a FAILURE! You can wins hundreds of awards, all rather pointless!
