Bernstein come out with their fraudulent update to value the company at £1.35 billion or little over three times profit. Where do these analysts get off. I'll definitely set aside significant sums sub £1.70. Imagine a broker valuing them at trash value... less than half of what GLS is worth Scum!

Sorry for being optimistic on this one. Most stocks are trading stocks these days. L&G somehow is valued more than Aviva for reasons beyond me other than its become a bulk annuity provider of choice. Strange how earnings per share are less than one half of Aviva; strange that its dividend is c one-half of Avivas; strange that NAV is only c. £1.30 per share and Aviva's is £4.23... one is nearly £2 over its NAV; the other nearly 20 pence under NAV. Spare capital £11 billion; Asian operations generating record remittances.... uk economy on the bounce; borrowings being reduced. I am being utterly delusional! sorry everyone.... all of you are reflecting the current share price which is severely undervalued - none of you seem to have any issue with the underlying fundamentals!

So AIB is valued at 6.7 billion... valued at 15 billion + a few years ago...

Especially when the economy is at full employment and it continues to grow... Brexit sorted (bar the trade deal) and US China issues resolved... don't know what it takes for people to grab a bargain.

AIB on 6 times earnings.... legacy issues of €300 million one off.... its mind boggling how low bank share prices are....

Makes me laugh.. fintech being a threat... bank of Ireland and AIB are fintech companies... they are competing against 100s of loss making start ups ups... manyof which will not survive... especially o n near 0 margins.

I know about then. I also know the likes of Revolut are reporting massive losses as are most of these fintech companies that gave started up... how can they make money on razor thin margins. As for traditional banks - they've been more or less entirely online for a decade.... lloyds has a slick technology offering as do most of the British banks. The independent wrote the article as if banks were purely on the high street... they are not!

Fintech is todays fad.... how do they make any money on such low volumes.... its so capital intensive.... I won't be putting any of my money into a fintech account.... sorry... dont trust the model... its not sustainable.
