How can there be an update to the MRE next week? This would require independently verified JORC assays, which essentially means drill results. Drilling has only just restarted so there are no new data since MRE.

I sometimes wish people would stop and think before posting unrealistic theories - it does the company no favours, as we have seen from the pre-Scally overhyping which gave traders the excuse to tank the SP when not unpredictable, but highly informative partial results were issued.

Buyer - It is your interpretation of my post that is wrong. Please re-read it. I was not predicting these prices, I was mocking the trolls who over the weekend had been promoting the imminent collapse of the SP to these levels.

Your previous relates to release of information by Newcrest regarding joint operations. This does not apply to Scally or any other 100% GGP operations. Newcrest are not 'insiders' as they have no involvement in Scally and are therefore a third party to any price sensitive information. Any prior release of info to them would be a breach of rules

They cannot divulge the Scally results to Newcrest (or anyone else) before they release them by RNS. Therefore it would not make sense to be in negotiations with anyone until results are out.

So, from investopedia:

(A) current market value of all shares existing before the rights issue - 1,930,995,313.00 shares x £2.19 (SP close 27/10)
= £4,228,879,735.47

(B) total funds raised from the rights issue sales - 6,061,504,884.00 x £.32 + 375,096,792.00x£.90 (£1,939,681,562.88 + £337,587,112.80) = £2,277,268,675.68

A + B = £6,506,148,411.15

Divided by new total shares in issue (8,367,596,989.00) = 78p

Larkinjersey - at no time did I refer to you or to whatever link you posted. Check the subject heading of the post - I was replying to a post by casualinvestorJ. You hijacked the thread to falsely accuse me of responding to your link! All you have done is to associate yourself with the tenor of my post.

By the way, in a later post you say "Unless youre (sic) a long term holder (and if you are then you will be standing a large paper loss)" Actually, no. I first bought in early Oct as a long term recovery stock, took up my rights, and am showing a paper profit of over 60%.

It is no coincidence that all these trolls are here trash talking RR. They are working together trying to sow doubt and turmoil amongst less savvy investors so that they and those who pay them to post can profit from price instability. Best to ignore them - they will soon move on to other shares like a swarm of locusts once they have made their 5% profits. Sad really that they have such low respect for themselves and for others to demean themselves this way

It's generally accepted that families argue more at xmas - just google it! Perhaps humour might help.

It is no coincidence that all these posters are here today spouting the same agenda. They are working together, trying to unsettle opinion and seed doubt in the minds of those who do hold shares. They are so transparent in their tactics, and must believe it has an effect, but personally my reaction is to laugh at them, knowing they will soon move on to other targets and RR will continue on its merry way.

Er - I am home. Unlike you who is transient and will soon be trying to disrupt some other share chat. Not sure if you're paid to do this but I can only feel sorry for someone with such a twisted view of morality and ethics.
