Lochlad - You seem to be very argumentative for a non-GGP shareholder. Please show where Burleigh 'advised' people what they could or couldn't post. He disagreed with you and, unlike you, was polite about it.

Today has seen an unusually high level of troll activity. Reasons for it can only be guessed at, but perhaps 'someone' sees it as a last chance to manipulate sentiment before the positive news cycle becomes too great.

In some ways it is positive to see, because it it obviously organised - all these new and rarely seen names joining our resident trolls on the same day is no coincidence - so 'someone' must consider there in money to be made through it. Unfortunatley for them, they do not realise that this is one of the most knowledgeable and best researched boards here and the exaggerated negativity will have little affect on sentiment.

Such attacks, while irritating, are almost always short lived, and cannot be prevented. It is no use arguing with them as they will ignore any logic, and sheer numbers will drown out sensible posts. Best just to report them when they become too abusive, or otherwise breach the fairly lax discussion rules.

Note that above I said they were attacking sentiment. Often when accused of trying to talk down SPs, the trolls will respond along the lines of "don't be ridiculous, chat on a BB can have no affect on a share's SP" It begs the question of why do they do it, and also why one of their continuous bleats is the something has to be done to counter the 'blatant ramping'. If chat on a BB is so ineffectual, why do they think ramping would work?

If you must engage trolls, at least change the header, especially when their main message in it

MH01 - what I was trying to say, but you put it much more effectively and comprehensively.

I believe there are some formal internal (mainly to NCM) and external processes to be completed before ore extraction. One is formal NCM board approval for the decision to mine and associated expenditure.

There is also formal approval of mining permits from the Government. I may be wrong (and happy to be corrected), but I believe these are still to be applied for.

Both of these will require detailed information on costs, resource assurance (to JORC standards) methodology such as would be detailed in a PFS (which might suffice for NCM Board) and FS (probably needed for permit).

So, for OP, extraction beyond sampling cannot proceed without at least a PFS.

I believe that some of the awaited cores relate to infill drills from the area likely to be included in the MRE (Bamps will probably know). They will want to include as much data for this area as possible, and there will be a fair bit of number-crunching to be done for integration into the MRE.

So I think we will get the assay results first, with the MRE following later.

If they are returning £4b, with £750m immediate buy back that would leave £3.25b. All of that as a divi could be up to 90p. If another similar buyback included, divi could be up to 70p.

And, interestingly, 7 months ago the same theory of massive II buying at artificial 'lows' was being repeatedly made by our noted poster Hydrogen, one of whom he claimed was on behalf of NCM. We're still waiting for the TR1s.

Ok, you're right and anyone who disagrees is wrong. We will have to accept that there has been a concerted conspiracy 'everyday for the last 7 months' to facilitate a 'massive worked buy'

Antigua, true but the unfortunate thing is that almost all institutional traders use charting and TA in their operations. Most of their traders have limited knowledge of the shares they handle and rely on their terminals to flash big green or red messages to them to tell them when to buy or sell, if indeed the trading is not done automatically. Most of the big houses are content to use high volume, low margin because that's what the others are doing and they're terrified of someone doing it better than them.
