I understood this was a board for the discussion of share trading and investing. It would seem that the majority of muppets who have invested the site today hold no shares and are not invested in RR. They are gambling on fluctuations is the SP and have no interest in the company, fundamentals or long term future. Hence they feel free to be keyboard warriors, continually posting negative "news" and opinions which support their position. They are likely to later open a long bet and their postings will change accordingly until they make their 5% profit and move on elsewhere. Rinse & repeat. Interesting that they never admit to losses, while spouting about how they're making money while we mugs are losing. However, no shareholder here has lost anything unless they sell, and I am certainly holding for the long term.

"Sorry. I see I have made an error there. I will multiply it by 10"

@Sproutdave - you are wrong because your assumptions only hold if GGP only had Havieron. It alone MAY never reach £1.51 at todays prices, but what happens when you add in the other prospects?

@GlynMo - Certainly not an expert, but the key stage would be to apply for a listing on the main LON exchange - AIM is separate though can be traded on the exchange. Companies must meet the requirements of the FCA listing rules but GGP should have no problem there.

I think entry to the FTSE 350 would be automatic based on market cap. The aspects you mention are no problem - GGP are UK registered and the liquidity requirements mention a minimum free float of 25%

Downsides as mentioned by others are increased fees and stricter corporate governance rules, but if we are to be a "grown-up" company then it's things we should do anyway.

Another factor would be that we would I understand move to a different trading platform (SETS) in which MMs play a much lesser role and uses an automated system of matching offers to bids.

Trouble is, a lot of funds can't buy our shares unless they specifically deal in AIM or miners. Many have rules restricting them to main listing companies. I know I raised this before, and all points made were valid, but I hope we can move out of AIM sometime next year as more MREs come in, raising our MC to levels where we could easily qualify for FTSE 350 (if we don't already!)

More than happy with MRE, as it validates our market cap with so much more to come.

Newbie here. Is there any estimate of how much it is will cost to bring the resource to production, and if the BOD has a strategy to bring this about?

You provided a link to a HoC research paper, but have you read it? You will find that the only "retrospective" legislation which has been introduced has been related to the closure of tax loopholes or artificial schemes which have sought to avoid legitimate taxation. The courts have supported this because the schemes have sought to subvert the intentions of Parliament when making the law. (Ref: the Rees Rules).

Long way from introducing new taxes which can be retrospectively applied.

So you're saying you expect 2021 to be a difficult fiscal year, comparable to 2020? For stocks like RR to lose almost half their value, it would have to be extreme. Given the introduction of vaccines likely to control if not reverse the spread of Covid, this would seem counter-intuitive with a general recovery in the economy more likely.

However, you are obviously an expert in this area and have a well thought out and reasoned strategy. Good luck with it.

MPO - It was SXX example I was thinking of, although it didn't seem to attract as many IIs as some thought it might. GGP is however several magnitudes ahead in terms of financial stability and it is a step they are surely looking towards in the future.

Not something I know a lot about, but we surely have the market cap to qualify. There are no doubt some stricter regulatory and financial requirements, but I believe it would also open us up to interest from much wider range of IIs and Funds, UTs and trackers whose rule prevent them from buying AIM shares.

Always came across as a nice guy. Good to have it confirmed that he was so in real life. Definitely one of the GOAT commentators, whose names became intrinsically linked with the sports they presented - Henry Longhurst, Bill McLaren, Ted Lowe. They all knew that viewers had eyes of their own - they didn't need second by second interpretation. A simple "well, well, well" could convey more than a hundred words from the likes of Jonathan Pearce.

MM's attitude to TA is understandable, as many people have limited knowledge of the theory behind it, and of the pros and cons of applying it to investing.
However, I feel that by asking people to ignore it he is denying them what, if used sensibly, could be a useful tool
in their overall investment strategy, particularly those who trade frequently.
Like it or not, it is true that a very high percentage of trades on the main exchanges are carried out by dealers who do use TA, and by automated systems, using algorythms based on mathematical concepts including TA.
