Think there is some confusion here. I agree with everything you're saying. I was just making the observation it is hard to wean off of one energy source to another (Case and point - going from wood fires, to coal fires, to gas, to electric etc) Humanity doesn't like change especially whe it's for ed upon us. It will be hard to convince people to move away from - pardon the terminology 'dirty fuels'.

But it's evident PHE are getting involved which is good

Steamingeagle - with all due respect they don't even have a prototype running. PHE have had one on the go for years.

It takes time to convince anyone to change. We have relied on diesel and petroleum for over 100 years in different forms for different functions. And in the last 100 years it has been incredibly profitable. Convincing companies, governments and even Joe blogs to change is hard. But PHE have started to do that.

I don't see Nexegy doing that.

I am truly sorry to say I am now sold out.

After 5 years and a steadily decreasing SP, I could not afford to try and level down. And with money left I could safely invest it into other certain shares that are coming along nicely.

It breaks me. I hate selling out - especially at a loss. More though I hate being strung along.

I do say that regardless of views and counter views, I can only wish the best for those long term holders. It's hard but I pray your confidence is rewarded, if not for you at least for your children.

I will still pop by now and again. Who knows, in the next few years I may see a wee spike and jump back in. But for now, no.

Possibly. But this is alba. And GF does not sully himself with worrying about what us - the mere peasants - want, need or would like. We're dirt. We fund his lifestyle and he will deliver to us when he's ready to.

Sadly then mate, as we see repeatedly, any time frame given or offered by ANYONE at alba is not even to be taken with an industrial dumper of salt. Rather we accept that we are just their funders and when they're ready they'll tell us.

Thus, don't expect any updates for at least another 3 months. Anything before is a boon.

I have to say I always take everything people say with a massive pinch of salt. And sometimes, your comments are a little hard to follow - your train of thought.

However I decided to take a dig on MET1 on the back of so e of your comments. I am not lucky enough to have thousands to drop - I work hard but pay the mortgage and bills almost alone, and my wife deals with the child care and works part time. We get by, but we're by no means able to drop a ton on shares.

Thanks to your commentary and direction, I am up a little now through MET1. I am not sure what Stan's book is. But I am a believer. And I guess I just wanted to say thank you. You pointed me onto MET. Cheers buddy. Truly.

Been off these means for a couple months. I won't lie I had hoped maybe the auction of these coins would have some impact.

Sadly the cynic in me also said 'Its a bit of a gimmick'. Unless we have gold to show - as in a good amount and solid proof we have A) more of it in good weight, B) the ability to access it and process it and C) make it profitable, then we won't get investments to really drove this price.

The coins are a nice touch but it was never going to drive the market crazy. Best bet would be maybe to hold the coins. Then when you get into production sell them as the first and only produced signature items from the mine. Once it's up and running it has more worth. Or sell a few now and hold the rest for when they become prestige items? I heard the story of an old boy who'd served in the navy. Right after WWII he had saved his money and bought a Rolex. His son was selling it on an antique show and - because of it's worth and rarity - got a fortune.

In short, these coins may be worth something to our kids. Or grand kids. But I don't see us getting any return on them. At least nothing meaningful unless we start producing gold to an amount that really catches the eye.

what you say is true. it's hard to assess a price on the coins. i did ruba few different searches to see if we could fine even a rough average price for rare collectible coins.

for am 1845 22kt gold sovereign - supposedly hard to find and thus rare - a price is given of £1,266.90.

evidently this is rare and niche but also probably of interest to a small group of collectors - potentially including museums.

if we use this as a marker, even if we multiply that say by 20 on a *** packet we get a price of £25,300 odd.

for three coins then a price of around £76k is not unremarkable.

there's a lot of ifs and buts and i appreciate that. and yes in extreme there are coins that sell for ridiculous amounts.

but sadly i don't think we should pin too many hopes on these coins. if we had the coverage and press and following, then maybe this would be exciting. but we don't. our pr is almost non existent. we have almost zero coverage.

i - genuinely - eagerly await to be proven sorely wrong and see this sell for ridiculous amounts. but i don't hold my breath.

Tbh I said that months back. These coins could theoretically go for even £50k a piece (never happen but in theory) and it wouldn't cause a dent in our shares. Oh, don't get me wrong. It will draw some attention and maybe allow some low averages to sell out but after that it'll drop off again.

£27k and three ounces to show. That's with all the sweepings getting checked and all. It doesn't bode well.

Saying that - before I'm accused of being a deramper etc - if you're a LTH then fair play and I respect that. And I truly hope I'm proven wrong in the next few years.

Who knows mate. But I have to admire you buying. I cannot stomach it. I'll hold - I'm so far in the red now if I lose it all it's not going to cut deep. The second it breaks even I'm selling even if it's a guaranteed 2p a share or more. I'm gone.

Some of us graft hard, work long hours and invest what little we can. Some of us are paying mortgages, keeping cars on the road, and covering tutoring for our kids.

Because truthfully I can see the open day happening, all the pundits telling us how well it went and the stock nose diving (wether due to influencers forcing the price down or those who are fed up taking their 5%/break even and running). Either way I am quite fed up with the nonsense. There's not be a single credible sustainable prediction on here to date. Bar - sadly - the ones who say just keep holding or it is away to dip.

I cannot say I have ever been to the mine. But, I have frequented Wales a fair bit around the beacons and Sennybridge. It is one of the most amazing weather systems I have ever seen. I have been called in sun cream in one moment trying not to burn and then minutes later soaked through and looking for hard cover.

I am from Scotland so understand inclimental weather well. However Wales definitely sets the tone for changing at pace lol. I think the only other place I have been caught back footed so badly was Kirkcudbright in Dumfries and Galloway - now THAT is wet haha

While I truly appreciate your faith and support on this company, I feel this coin enterprise is a cheap filler.

So a bit of honesty. I've only been invested here for four years. So hardly a long hold in AIM. And I appreciate that. But all I have seen is consistent raises and SP drops. And no gold.

We now have gold we can use. As of the 19th the Alba team admitted they were not sure how many coins they can make. They need to wait for samples to come back from lvl5.

This means then that we could - theoretically - go to auction with ten coins. Even if they were worth £5k each (extremely unlikely) they would raise a total of £50k which funds nothing. Even 100 coins wouldn't be a dent at that price.

I am sorry for appearing negative. But the coins are not enough. It's far too little too late. Unless the company - more GF - really sells this and says there is still a LOT of gold in the mine and they can start extracting and processing it, with 'X' company in collaboration, I think we will see this drop again.

The coins are a gimmick. Better to smelt the gold into a single bar and hold it up for the world to see I feel.

And I'll keep doing it. They can keep their gimmicks. I would like a solid answer about the gold in the mine, projected amount, sample results, and why the share price keeps dropping if everything is going so swimmingly.

I have red and reread very carefully the case of Bre - Ex. I am very aware it's possible to con people, and that's my concern now with this share. I hope I am wrong but after four years of promises but consistently missed deadlines and nothing to show...
