While optimistic I am being cautious. Last year results where due in similar time frames and we saw what happened there. Let's just wait see what they come back with.
I am laughing my head off. I am hoping George is sitting with his head in his hands after buying in, and watching this share now dip again. Now maybe he will understand how we feel. I just hope he has the gumption to realise it is all on his head. This will continue as people take peanuts profits as they have no faith in him.

Good find on the article about banning plastics. How long will that take to come into play? And it is not all plastics surely?
Further, we have more vehicles on the road than ever before. Most have four tires, some less and some more. That all needs to be removed.
And even recyclable plastic is now raising concerns as we realise they're not actually always viable and fully recyclable. Even at our work place the council charged our lads for putting plastic and cardboard in recycling because it was food packaging - due to grease and contamination it could not be processed they said. (I mean who rinses a pizza box right? Ha). But the point stands all these reusable and recyclable plastics still end up in the system for waste. Packaging as well on goods. And we have not even started on the fact that there is absolutely scope for new feed types to be introduced down the line if needed.
And even if all the above doesn't work, they'll still have a good ten to twenty year run getting rid of all the waste plastic sitting around already.
It is a good article mucker. But I wouldn't worry too much about PHE future IMO.
Exactly Maclain. I mean this time last year we where getting news about samples and bulk sampling due in a matter of weeks. Months later we hadn't had news.
I appreciate the updates from ScotAlba. I truly do. But do I trust anything that alba says time lines? Not in this life time. It'll happen when it does or it won't.
@Lee absolutely. I mean I Do see the value in Alba. You would need to be blind not too. And I do have faith in the actual mine. I just have no faith in George. If he goes - no I'll will to him - I believe this would start to fly.
But no you're not alone in your thoughts mate.
Yes but that's a misconception. He's getting a wage regardless. If it works out great, he can get a little more. If it doesn't he can sell up move on go to a new job. We're the ones funding him, and not making money now. So he has no reason to move fast - not yet. Maybe when the funding starts to dry up from investors but by that point it may be too late
I sent a brief and succinct email to the Guardian outlining PHE, where it is at etc. I am not as clued up as some here but if others where to follow up it may attract attention.
Very well played Nookie. Lol hey this time next year we'll be millionaires lol.
Here's hoping to a better '22. Can't be any worse I feel. Good luck to you and all have a great festive period and an amazing new year
I have emailed the Guardian. Worse that'll happen is they ignore this. But it's gone to their environmental desk. Hopefully, it is enough to make them interested to potentially run an article especially with Christmas around the corner and what that entails - so much waste and plastic tonnage is usually reported. Here's hoping they can link the two.
I understand your frustration Copland. Hopefully, given time, another company will see the potential and buy is out to start mining the goods. If he can prove its there - and he is - maybe some company has a quiet eye on ALBA just waiting for the right price to make a bid.
Or hopefully GF might actually start digging the accessable areas he knows he can instead of.kicking heels waiting for the dewatering license .
Probably not mate as none of us here are - to my knowledge - accredited financial advisors.
It's tight but you'll need to make your own choice. Personally for me I'm happy to sit on this. If by 2025 I'm still sitting at 4p a share or worse I'll sell. That's three years and even with delays we should be ahead of this price by then I feel.
But that's just my own thoughts. And I would say to you if someone advises selling, why are they here? I don't go to random pages and advise people to sell. So why would they unless they're looking to gain from it?
Just my thoughts what ever you do good luck.
While I like this idea, the drama is there are far too many waiting around - even in this board - who would take the profit and then sit back as it drops to buy in again. Never ending sad cycle. We need a proper solid rise that even day traders cannot knock too badly.
@Scotalba thank you for your thoughts.
I have a question though. If they placed the long term monitors in there as far back as 2018, they must of been aware that they would potentially need the data at some point - why else put it there. To which they could not retrieve the monitors, so placed new ones in and gathered 7 week's worth of data. Potentially, then, the drawn conclusion would be they where planning on submitting over 2 years worth of data.
With this in mind, how long will we now be expected to wait for enough data? Do they explain why we could.not retrieve the data monitors?
Or has anyone experience with how much data may be required? It is an interest point as to understand on how long this may take. If, for example they'd be happy with 6 months, we can expect the license to be reviewed again then. However if they want longer, to allow for a good record during different months and seasons, could it potentially be late next year? Or hopefully, will it be a case of another seven weeks to support the initial data, and then we can crack on?
I know it is a lot of questions, bit if anyone has any understanding of these processes I'd be keen to hear. Cheers all.
I think Shareflyer has hit it on the head. Although gold is doing well, we still have none to sell as such. Alba have not removed any, and they have not even got a proposed year to start looking at production - if I am wrong please do correct me.
I get they're exploring. But given some of the news they've hit out with this year, they know what they're potentially sitting on. So why don't they just start getting it out or sell the area to someone with the drive to do so? Even things like bats and otters...why was this not forseen by the BOD? It is like, every step forwards is up hill and mostly followed by a slip. I feel for the LTH who have been here far longer than I.
I have hope for the company. There is far too much potential to really just fail. But I also watch the constant down spiral of the SP and I have concerns.
I admire your enthusiasm Robbie. I tok am down on a couple of promising shares. I wish you the best with what you hold especially in time for Xmas brother
To give Gentleman1 his due, he has been saying for a few weeks now big news was coming. Then in the days before he did ramp up his predictions. It's not been hit and miss; it has been clearly building to this point. So thank you and well done Gentleman1. Viele Dank
Special, while I sincerely do respect your views - and believe you are a chartist - I will remain holding. If I wish to seek advise on when to hold or sell my shares I'll approach a professional whose credentials I can check, and gain advice. I have no doubt you have credentials, but without verification I'll avoid any advice on here. Kind regards buddy.
this board descending into these arguments. It is a shame. It used to be very good if a little combative at times. Hopefully heads will cool and we will all chill soon.
In other news I'm currently away working. Out with a lot of other people, the water here is not good to drink so while acclimatization takes place were sinking plastic bottles like they're going out of business. About 500-700 at least 4 litres a day each and thats not including the local workers. The plastic has to go somewhere? And that's just the water never mind everything else. Two months of it. I'm looking at it and thinking "Were a tiny drop but this is a lot of potential fuel". Heres to the future I still have faith.
Of course the other drama we will have is, even on amazing news, say the share gets up to .50 - a very respectable leap - how many will keep holding or how many will take any profit and run?
We've seen they cannot promote this company. We've seen that even on what should be good news, sentiment barely bumps us up before it slumps again.
I'll be blunt. I have money. I am holding, but only to a profit. At that point no matter how minimal I'll sell and keep an eye on this stocl. I would pray genuinely for the rest of you it keeps on rising - and best of luck for it. But I think it will co to use to rise and slump. So I'll buy back in cheaper.
And I know that's not helpful. But unless the BoD come forward with an ingot of gold and say "This is us in business" I think to many people are going to do the same.
An interest point on EV. We can charge phones etc by placing them on a charging pad - no wires. Evidently this won't happen for a LONG time with cars. But if down the line they did develop a plate that you parked on, it charged your car battery over night, and it registered your car's license plate so it would just charge to your bank, that could resolve the wire issue.
Although as I said I cannot forsee that for years at the earliest. Hydrogen just makes more sense to me.
