I agree with your sentiments Ham. And it's a clear and well thought-out argument.
My only counter is yes, as you say you need to put a spade in the ground to see what's there. But if you ask someone for money to buy the spade, then more money to have the soil looked at, at some point the lender would like a rough idea what's in the soil too. And keeping the lender waiting too long will result in them taking their spade and doing one.
That's the situation we have here. It is frustrating as investors to put money and faith into a company, then wait and watch. And get really nothing very solid in return. I am a novice trader. But I am also very patient. And I don't care much for the SP range within a 6 month period especially at an exploration level. It's naive to believe you'll pay on and watch the SP only ever rise. However, on the back of that I would like something solid in return. Assay results that have been held back for so so long. They keep telling us to exercise patience. Fair one. But we would at least like to know is there gold there enough for it to be viable to extract - again I'm not on about wanting to hear "We have billions of tones of gold sitting there, so much the dwarves of Moria would be jealous" but it would be nice to hear "The assay results with the technical info will be released soon. But we can say now yes, this mine is predicted to be profitable".
I may be missing something. And I am sorry if my inexperience is over looking a lot. But simple words will attract far more PI's with money than fancy jargon and delays I feel.
