Just my quick thoughts - I am open to others taking this chain with far more experience.
I am not bothered at all about the dip since Monday on here. I was expecting since it shot up on Monday a slight tail off as Friday came on, due to traders jumping on the share and selling for quick profit. (And genuinely I am glad for those that made a buck or two).
But this has just reinforced my confidence in this stock and company. If a bit of good news can propel it that far drastically - as we're seeing time and again - then what will the FOAK do? And the rest as they start to kick in on sentiment alone?
Anyway to all here have a lovely weekend on your profits and let's look forwards to another good few months ahead.
As always glad to see you back in force Kenny. You, the good Doc, Dave and a few others are always nice to see popping in.
On the hope/hype side, I heard an interesting bulletin on the way to work this morning. I did not catch much but it sounded like there is plans to have hydrogen propelled trains by '24 (date I can't honestly mind but that's stuck in my head)
If you imagine the amount of waste plastic and such on trains and at stations - fast food vendors, newsagents etc - it opens up an interesting thought of having - albeit much much further down the line - smaller modules placed strategically or at main hubs. You deposit your waste straight in, you can take hydrogen out. And evidently with the eletricic output I would imagine that could power inter city services or trams as well potentially?
I am not a mathematician, nor a mechanically minded or engineering minded person bar the vehicles and equipment I need for work. But I would be surprised if this tech could not fold into such mainline transport hubs.
But anyway sorry for the spiel. Again nice to see you back and delivering nice articles and info for us to disseminate at our leisure buddy.
Very well spotted Vii. It's always the same. I generally disregard most the posts here now apart from a little laugh but only sit up and pay attention to a few regulars.
Nookie.
Well played. Well played lol
I am NOT saying it is the same...but Bre-X gives me the fear when I read up on that horror story. I hope we're not being dragged along. I do have faith which is why I am here. But I am also not so naive to not be having tiny little doubts.
Did they say August '21? Just to clarify lol I mean...time scales is not their forté
If it is not, are you willing to sell all your shares you hold and prove it?
I won't try predict this - especially stating my prediction as fact - as we have seen in the last 12 months companies and certain stocks are manipulated.
But, if you are certain - out of interest - would you be willing to sell a your shares here and go?
@Markrops,
No, I understand your view. And I do get your point fully. But for myself, I just view it as a small hiccup. Now yes, if another delay comes out -say another year, or the such - at that point I will be worrying slightly.
But for now what I mean is that were still doing fine. We have a technology that we have faith in. They've not come back and said the tech is flawed, or that they need more time to do R&D. So, realistically it's just sit back and wait. And I have faith there will be a few companies like ours within the next 20 odd years. It would be nice to be first. But if not, we will still have work.
However as I said above I do fully appreciate your points. And I am sorry if I have came across blasé. They're very good points and evidently I do not want to come in last behind the competition.
I looked at your Twitter, and I must agree with you.
Yes we are frustrated. However nothings changed apart from a date being pushed to the right. We still have the plot of land, we still have the go ahead to build.
I think a lot of the sellers are short term and day traders looking for a quick buck - note not all, and I appreciate there will be exceptions. But my own thoughts are wait out on this one. If it was good enough before for me, and nothing has changed, then it is still good enough.
Misrant I understand your position fully. It's fair enough. Good luck in future ventured, and I do hope we see you back at some point possibly when it's settled here.
...but I am staying.
I'm quite surprised at the anger here. Especially amongst some who are evidently long term traders, with a lot of experience under their belts. Emotion has no place in investing and trading really. We know this.
We also all know how AIM works. As we should know how new tech which has not been built to this scale works.
There will be delays. There will be hiccups. It can potentially take a lot longer than predicted. Predictions are based on a lot of factors and all of them coming together in the right time and sequence. We all know that life is not like that.
So for a move of a timescale to cause such uproar...I just don't believe there should be so much concern. Especially if like me you have bought this with a LTH view of a minimum ten years. A few months of play is not really going to bother me much at all.
Now evidently were all adults here. If you no longer agree with the tech or lose faith, be mature enough to say a polite fair well and good luck and go. And I wish you all the best either in competing tech or a new venture. If you wish to stay in the company then do so. Hopefully 8 years from now we will be here laughing about these wee hiccups as we congratulate our willingness to wait.
But let's at least remain calm, objective and most of all remain civil to each other, and not resort to name calling and trying to undermine one another.
He also said, "We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars".
There's no harm in having a little faith. It's hard yes - I had a major wobble with this a few months back - but I will remain calm. Worst case scenario I lose it all and learn a lesson. But I cannot forsee this happening.
Hello Craig30
I have never posted here before. But I have been holding here for about a year, and I am knew to investing. So maybe more informed members here.
However for what it is worth, I did look back. Since 2014 the SP has very rarely drifted south of the £2.30 mark - and it was on obvious points like Brexit etc. Fundamentally this business weathered Covid well. It has recovered nicely, and is sitting back at it old rough levels.
I personally cannot see this drifting or falling off drastically - maybe a few pence here or there. But that's in my opinion. I bought this as a safe asset to have and will keep holding it. As Vladamar has shown, it has room and scope for being very profitable.
Obviously when ever you choose to join us up to you. But do your own research and jump in. And good luck!
I have to agree with youTestpack regards the EV battery argument. PHE are pushing the Hydrogen front - that makes sense - but if your average car manufacturer goes for battery, it will put us on a back foot to an extent.
However, my understanding of the DMG process is it can also produce electricity. I am unsure of the numbers, but theoretically then it could charge batteries too?
Also though it seems a lot of bus companies are looking to use hydrogen, and - I am sorry I cannot remember the name - but recently a hydrogen vehicle producer called out Tesla after Elon Musk slated Hydrogen. They've challenged him on a rally that they believe they can complete without a refuel, when the Tesla vehicle would need recharged. If it goes ahead, it could offer at least a wider audience a chance to see hydrogen at work.
However, you may be right again. I mean regards EV. The best option may be to promote that we do also remove a LOT of waste. If all else fails, hopefully HGV etc will go hydrogen and we can have a niche market but one all the same? Even minimum level we could have a waste vehicle powered off hydrogen from DMG collecting waste, dropping it off and then refuelling. Almost self reliant. That is not the end game we wish for. But better than nothing.
I have to say, my first share was here. And I decided to email and say hello, and express my excitement as a new investor. Dave came back very rapidly. It gave me great confidence, this human touch. Someone certainly very busy, who would take time to respond to queries and messages. I do not see why anyone would assume there was anything insidious going on. And if unsure, try yourself. The worst that would happen is there would be no response.
Nice to see you back Kenny.
Elir when they stated mid-May after previous timescales, I reasonably took that to be mid-May at sompoint. Just not this year
Yannis mate I truly think this price is being deliberately held back. I am not into conspiracies. But this makes no sense. Far too many things not released on time, or hinted at and not delivered as you alluded too.
I think this has to go at some point, but they're applying the breaks, though why I am unsure.
No thats perfect again thanks Xcoder I appreciate your thoughts and info on the matter. Have a good evening.
I see. Thank you Xcoder. On the back of that, then, is there a way to assess how that converts over, from concentrate? Or is it a case of wait out and see still? Thank you
