You are right Soupstone. My only query is that their release of results at end of Q1 is not legally binding is it? And if not, they can then drag it further if needed couldn't they? Which would negatively impact the SP further I sadly believe.
I posted a few weeks back that due to the level of the SP even good news will struggle to get it flying. I hope good news comes sooner than later. There are a lot of inpatient people and I know that LTH believe that it's fine, they can fall by the wayside. But if they take their money it'll be harder again.
I hope for a good result soon. But it's hard to remain positive. Give it two weeks and we'll have a better understanding no doubt
Assays on the 6th?! I was under the impression end of Q1 was end of march? Or have I missed something?
As an extremely novice trader I have found Dr A both on here and other sites always very willing to offer advice, answer questions, and try to get information.
Have yet to hear or see him try to persuade someone to buy directly. Nor seen him give advice to the point of making people part with their money.
I genuinely believe he is just a bloke who has a keen passion for this technology. He also has a keen insight and interest in getting Futher information. He reiterated a lot - I am sorry Dr you do - but he does this, due to people joining late or asking the same questions over and over.
And some not being willing to dig or write an email, or in my case not knowing where to start. He can find information, links and offers us direction.
I have no belief or inclination there is anything insidious about it nor that he is working for the company - if he was his videos and promotional stuff he does would be on PHE site before anywhere else.
It's always good to not accept all at face value. And I thank Blue Toff for having the Brass to ask the awkward questions. That genuinely takes nerve.
But I have faith In Doc and I will continue to read his updates and information he finds. Him and Kenny. And with no thoughts of conspiracy or ulterior motives....only big bucks down the line and a chance to see my kids and missus right l.
I am sorry you see it as soon and gloom Nookie. And truly that's not my intent. But I am a realist. I would love nothing more than for this to hit higher. I genuinely pray each day from 0800 to see this creep high to .5s again.
I just do not see that happening soon. I sincerely hope I am wrong. And I love your enthusiasm. But I see this holding low now for a while, maybe until Greenland picks up? If we can see any evidence of otherwise - other than mythical Assay results - to turn the SP up again great. But until then it would appear the general consensus - on here and the market as a whole - that this is not a riser for the foreseeable future.
That's not to say this is not a good potential share. It is in my own opinion. But I refuse to sell this as higher - or risk being accused of ramping or pumping it. Sorry again if it comes across negative though.
A fair assesment Kelbelle....and if true, we could be facing personal tough choices. Do we stay and hold fast, or go and cut our losses.
I'll probably stay to the bitter end - I can afford the amount I've invested to lose. But I hope sincerely this corrects soon and flies.
Let's all stay positive at the least till the end of the month.
I agree with your sentiments Ham. And it's a clear and well thought-out argument.
My only counter is yes, as you say you need to put a spade in the ground to see what's there. But if you ask someone for money to buy the spade, then more money to have the soil looked at, at some point the lender would like a rough idea what's in the soil too. And keeping the lender waiting too long will result in them taking their spade and doing one.
That's the situation we have here. It is frustrating as investors to put money and faith into a company, then wait and watch. And get really nothing very solid in return. I am a novice trader. But I am also very patient. And I don't care much for the SP range within a 6 month period especially at an exploration level. It's naive to believe you'll pay on and watch the SP only ever rise. However, on the back of that I would like something solid in return. Assay results that have been held back for so so long. They keep telling us to exercise patience. Fair one. But we would at least like to know is there gold there enough for it to be viable to extract - again I'm not on about wanting to hear "We have billions of tones of gold sitting there, so much the dwarves of Moria would be jealous" but it would be nice to hear "The assay results with the technical info will be released soon. But we can say now yes, this mine is predicted to be profitable".
I may be missing something. And I am sorry if my inexperience is over looking a lot. But simple words will attract far more PI's with money than fancy jargon and delays I feel.
I hope so. But as I mentioned before I feel no matter what Alba do they just cannot win. I am in for long haul end of. But it is a shame.
...that Alba could step forwards, with a kilo lump of solid gold, and say "We have another 10k identical to this down the tunnel beyond us" and the SP would hit .1p immediately lol.
I do like this share. And I have faith in it. But at times it feels like no matter what is said or done investor sentiment is not there and the SP just keeps getting a kicking. It's a shame really.
I am not buying. Not now. I have my shares and I am waiting. If it starts to rise I'll buy in then, and yes maybe of missed a good price but it'll continue to rise so I'll be fine.
Buying now, and raising my average price would potentially leave me open to any further dilution and start to eat I to my profits.
I do have faith but so do a lot of people in a lot of AIM companies that either fail or - as you believe - are used to make a quick buck.
Thank you for the responses all
Sorry Erdb so I understand quarterlies etc, but can I ask - open to the board actually - what's the potential here. Is there a chance of the SP falling further, if the earnings are poor?
As always Doc your drive and passion for this is unbeatable. Massive thank you for driving forwards this share and the company, and your time and effort.
Massive thanks to the old guard - you know who you are - who keep this alive and well informed. Take care all and good luck.
PHE should give you a commission Doc, deserve something your your efforts you do
While I enjoy the enthusiasm and optimism, let's remain level headed. As it stands less than 6 months ago we where all buckling in for a sky rocket on the back of expected and projected Assay results. Since then we have slowly declined.
Yes, I think we have the ability to climb. But with the dip we've taken I'll settle for about .6 and holding there. If we can get even there and hold strong I'll be happy.
I'm not a deramper, and as always bow to the experience in here. But I'm not going to start counting my money as there is too much conjecture and not enough solid proof for me yet.
There is a pattern whenever Oz posts we seem to hit what he so suggests soon.
Now, I'm no saying he knows everything...but Oz if you fancy taking a dig at the lottery numbers I'd appreciate it lol.
On a serious note I do hope this now starts to rise again.. all my shares have been shaken recently - overall blue but tight. PHE is my favourite and it would be nice to see it improve a little.
Take care all and good luck.
My worry, is that the SP has been pushed so low now that when it does bounce back as I believe it will, it will hit .40 as a high and not the .60-70 some hope to see
Danny 212 can be a nightmare at times huh? I struggle with this and PHE which means I miss some great prices at times.
Red for the next couple of weeks. Then, potential to go blue in build up to RNS and assay results.
However it would sound from what's been, that they're not going to offer up much. There is a lot of 'dont concentrate on the assay, look to the future' sort of comments about. That would then suggest another dip to red IF they're not good.
If they are in fact positive possibly stay blue then at a reasonable level. All in my humble opinion.
I hope so Linty. Don't get me wrong I love this share, and I am up since my majority was at 3p. But now as I buy in I level up more and more so try to wait till it really bottoms out before I start levelling up.
However I do really enjoy this share. It's a smart long term choice in my mind.
Good grief no boobs. Noobz. Bloody Freudian slip I guess....
