I don't think it is rocket science to know that to incentivise people to work you cannot economically punish them at every turn..the far bigger issue is what those in control do with the taxable income received and that is where this government is failing and will continue to do so ..I cannot for one moment believe they would be so reckless with their own finances !

Ramon I was clinging to that notion that indeed the new lender would not just chuck in cash to what is as it stands an idle project with what appears on the outside to have no way of going forward with the seemingly inept Ghanaian parliamentarians..also the deal did have the agreement of Assore which obviously is a big positive ..hopefully some good news soon to move us out of the doldrums !

Unfortunately I do not think that you can call collective buys of circa £ 17 that the market loves it ..as much as I would like Sound to prosper we are a very long way short of doing that at the mo !!

The irony is that Labour pre election promised not to put taxes up and they lued about that along with many other things and here the Tories are promising to abolish ( admittedly draconian ) stamp duty ..as we know very easy to promise in opposition , very hard to deliver in power..my opinion has not changed the Tories are confined to the political wilderness and Labour will be next to join them but hopefully for a lot longer..I think even many on the left are thinking wtf !!

I agree ..we have to hear the result of any discussions first presuming the committee are prepared to put them before parliament and then mps will want to have plenty of time to digest and discuss and we all know how long that takes..any sooner than December would be a good outcome..providing it is a good one !!
