from sprott says we are just about to enter a new bull market for smaller exploration stocks..those with proven track records surrounded by a professional team should do well..ring any bells ?

Eish have been in solg for a very long time and a great fan of NM who i think is a very tough negotiator and always has a game plan..yes can get a bit messy when others get involved but that is what the likes of solg and ironridge want..they have got something that somebody else wants to get their hands on

more knowledgable on here..if there was any intention to develop and move one of irr assets forward for a sale what in your opinion would be either the most mature and ready for sale..something that would signal to the market that the value creation is coming to fruition

Thanks for reply and yes well aware of NM history and ability to grow resource companies into attractive morsels for larger players but did not know if he or Vincent had expressly mentioned the possibility that that was the long term plan..although we keep on getting little updates because there are so many pieces to this jigsaw they do seem to get lost on the market..it always feels if that slightly more fundamental bit of news is still around the corner

Toro , What in your opinion do you think is the plan here with ironridge..is it to keep proving up the resources and then let one of our bigger shareholders take on one or more of the resources or get the company upto a certain level of maturity across the board and then sell to a resource major..there presumeably is a plan ?

Yes does seem a bit strange after so long ..talk of testing extension to historic find but covered in sandstone and still remain a target..just sounds a bit vague but hey ho

unfortunately any rise with IRR does not seem to last very long recently

I remember when I first purchased IRR around the 14p mark they kept on lurking between 10.5 and 14p for ages a bit like the sp movement at the mo where it seemingly is going nowhere and then all of a sudden it spurts forward in leaps and bounds so maybe just maybe that is how it is going to play out

I agree but it certainly was not painting a very rosey picture that was going to change any time soon but we live in hope that was why i made the comment about the visitor numbers

I really do not want to be a pessimist but when you say there is no news that you are aware of the last trading update did not fill me with confidence..i would like to think all the chatter about visitor numbers was good news but i am erring on the side of caution at the mo and expecting the worst

But you still need people to be selling at this level..at the moment we dont seem to be getting a ground breaking rns..good progress but maybe lths still sitting on profits getting bored and moving on..

That my friend is the stockmarket for you..sometimes you think you are onto a sure fire winner and it plummets and on the otherhand a share that looks like it is ready for the knackers yard takes off lol

I was just on about when they made the rns announcement if theysome positive data to hand they would or should have announced it..to be honest think closed period only affects directors share dealings

yes but on paper mysq at least looks like it is going to make money..i think they are at breakeven at the mo and looking for acquisition

I agree Knigelk cannot quite understand the vagaries of the stockmarket sometimes..the last update was disappointing to say the least and the subsequent fall expected with in all reality no bounceback anticipated so although welcome cannot quite make it out because as i said once before if there was some positive news like the visitor numbers to the website that you could get out to the market to try and negate the awful rns you were delivering why wouldnt you

That maybe so but you would of thought that the latest rns on trading update would have made more of a mention of these increased numbers to mitigate the damage of the update which makes me come to the conclusion that in the short term it is not going to help the bottom line

Yes think it is more to do with tinkering with portfolios as we would probably of seen a rise if they were buys as it certainly does not take much to move IRR..likewise we can retreat quite quickly as well tho..if i recall think we touched 39p last week
