The fact of the matter is that the BOD have held their hands up and invited all to submit their proposals..I do think the project is important and there will be plenty who will want to get involved.The IPPC is still a big deal in the grand scheme of things for demonstrating that they can get the permits to operate and that would be a huge boost if that did turn up in the short term..pg11 performing better would also be another plus but a jv or t/o is a very realistic scenario..just at what price is the question

I know westie but cutting through all the cr*p that is spouted on here about the current BOD if they had a bigger pot of money coupled with a country that needs to get its backside into gear if it wants to attract investment we would not be here discussing these issues..most pis want to blame someone if their investment goes down and I really do believe that some on here have chucked everything they can find out of their prams

I think you will find I have said in the past that another partner with deeper pockets is needed to carry the project forward..AST has always operated on a shoestring and has therefore sailed close to the wind so many of the comments you have just responded with do not stack up..what I was really getting at was there is nothing wrong in changing your mind about a company you are invested in and it is a free board to make comment and let everyone know that sorry guys I have been very pro AST but now have changed my mind due to blah blah blah etc but to keep banging on about it when you are not invested is somewhat strange ..all imo tho

You have slightly missed my point because all that information was known to us before the problems at pg11..however if those problems were completely resolved and it was back to producing at least what it was before the shut in then would you change your mind again..pretty sure the answer is no so I can only summize that a lot of your continuous and somewhat bitter negative posting is derived from the point that you have sold out
