I do not understand this trade; someone bought 23,869 shares at 15:19:33 and then sold them at 15:36:25 swallowing a £167 loss. £10 a minute loss? Beggars belief.

The results are outstanding and do not reflect the potential of the Lagoa Salgada base and precious metal project in Portugal. If the Central Zone drilling results are impressive the ore body may be one of the largest undeveloped Zn deposits known.

Drilling results to date have indicated that there may be a significant amount of Indium present even though they have never shouted about it - this can only help with the Preliminary Economic Assessment. If the Central zone proves to be part of the ore body this becomes a Copper / Zinc game where production switches in line with market demand. It seems to be the same anomaly as Lundin's Neves-Corvo mine.

I can only hope the rampers arrive and create demand as I have previously said the share may pay for my next fishing holiday.

I did say the near future but 2 hours was faster than expected. I am going to have to a deep-dive into the results but they seem very positive at first glance. It will be interesting to see how the market reacts.

I might have heard that the deal being worked is with AstraZeneca and could be worth hundreds of millions of Pounds [I have not].

Maybe someone will post 'the deal being worked is with AstraZeneca and could be worth hundreds of millions of Pounds' on ADVFN. I have little faith in what people post on bulletin boards, especially when they claim to have spoken to a Director about a sensitive matter.

I agree that it seems that MAFL have disappeared into the Bermuda Triangle. However, news should be coming soon. The last Proactive Investors interview with Jamie Lesser is worth watching if you have not done so. A quick summary of the interview is:

The Preliminary Economic Assessment [PEA] of the Lagoa Salgada ore body is due before the end of the year;
The Central Zone of the body will will be drilled next [not included in the PEA] and there is hope that the results may significantly expand the inferred resource;
MAFL have no debt, have 8% of their NAV in cash and have little exposure to the £ [which may be useful with Brexit uncertainty];
ZINC stockpiles are at a 21 year low and prices have been rising;
A NAV update is due soon, along with the accounts for the year ended 30/6/19;
MAFL are due $500k from Ascendant before the end of the year.

I am expecting the accounts / NAV update to be positive but rampers will inevitably arrive and it may result in a spike that some may get impaled buy. If the spike occurs I will take at least my tax-free Capital Gains Allowance out (I dislike paying tax).

Excellent - ignore the announced recapitalisation and Link having to liquidate the Woodford Fund.

As HeresHopin said spreading risk is advisable - you run the risk of missing out on a rise [or decline] in a single share but the ride can be more comfortable.

A portion of my SIPP is in thematic funds - if you can see a market segment worth investing in and are correct, actively managed funds can work over time if you understand the underlying investments.

Do your charts consider if the orders are sell orders [only 9 percent down today]? Have you added windows in the chart for the recapitalisation or Link selling?

I am a bit confused - I was considering a trading opportunity the last time SCLP required financing and did not get my buy in price when Vulpes made their investment. Existing shareholders where diluted by 16% then. Now I am expecting another funding squeeze as I expect another fundraise before the end of SCLP's financial year end.

Is it facts getting in the way or should existing shareholders be concerned about the effect of another placing and the consequential dilution. It is worth noting that the 2 of the main parts of the Vulpes fund is German Property and Agriculture. Neither of these sectors are performing well so how much spare cash they have to invest / reinvest in their Life Sciences portfolio may be questionable as they distribute profits from their underperforming assets to their investors.

Personally, I would have little trust in the broker who had a target of 40p now that TRX needs to be recapitalised.
