This is part of RBD's investment ethos - buy into projects where the prospects look good but the partners do not have the cash to progress the project. RBD have more credibility and access to investors than most oil and gas AIM companies.

Most know RBD is a speculative investment which should only represent a small percentage of their exposure to the market [adjusted to their risk / reward profile].

This is one of the most advanced machines I have come across so far.

No - they are the best. They have managed to continually raise funds to pay themselves to research their compounds despite having little skin in the game, not enticing a big pharma to sign on any deal and having to deal with disgruntled shareholders.

I HAVE TO RATE THEM 10 OUT OF 10 (not that long term shareholders have benefited to date).

I remember that a competitor's well flowed at the equivalent of 3000 barrels of oil per day - but nobody saw any tankers leave the site and the accounts never ended up showing any revenue from the testing. Selective initial and time sensitive flow test results are not an accurate representation of future flows.

The RNS includes the statement: 'Sally brings deep retail banking expertise that will be invaluable to Metro Bank as we enter the next chapter for the bank.'

Is this more of a hint that they might be exiting the mortgage market? Somethings afoot?

Revenue does not equal cash flow - since the end of the financial year they have drawn down on the loan 5 times and done a £2m discounted placing.

Only £6m MCAP = easy to selectively copy and paste even though the ASX RNS does not make it easy.

Only 7 and a half hours until the market opens in the UK - I would not be surprised if UK based investors buy on the Australian market to start the enthusiasm.

Quant traders are using location data brokers and manipulating the data to create trading positions [buy, sell, increase/decrease short positions]. As the data is harvested from real time / historical data sets they have a far greater insight than someone walking past a single store - they can model where the customer goes after a visit to a bank branch. So they can determine the frequency of visits by business customers [and the exact business and time of trips to the branch] and where the personal banking customers live and mash that against the value of the property that they live in to get an idea of the likely profitability of the customer.

The accounts also state that UKOG had Revenue of £103k for the 6 months ending 31 March 2019.

I only work on the accounts reported for the listed company.

The consolidated income statement in the interim accounts for UKOG in the RNS you refer to clearly states that UKOG [not HHDL] had Revenue of £103k for the 6 months ending 31 March 2019. It appears that we need to go beyond the CHIEF EXECUTIVE'S STATEMENT and read the actual figures for UKOG.

The CEOs statement included:

'UKOG is now firmly positioned to receive the lion's share of future Horse Hill cash-flow'. Yes - they now have an effective majority interest in HHDL?

'Significantly, for the six-month period under review we generated £1.62 million in receipts from sale of test volumes of crude oil. These cash-flows are, as per standard industry practice, offset against ongoing capitalised testing costs at Horse Hill'. HHDL is a separate company from UKOG - that revenue is being accounted for in HHDLs accounts?

People seem to be plucking figures from flying pigs at the moment. Hopefully the potential will become clearer soon; personally I am only interested in sustainable oil flows and depletion rates but if a trading opportunity comes along I have a point or 2 to gamble with.

The only 'fact' that seems to have changed recently is the uplift of sentiment by private investors but they are fickle and play a role in price volatility in listed companies that have no cornerstone investors.

When you actually read the RNS and look at the consolidated figures it says that the revenue reported by UKOG was £103k - am I missing something or are people just reading the headlines in the RNS?
