Can you prove 2nd shift has not started?' - I can prove neither assertion; equally, can you prove production has increased with a trained 2nd shift? I prefer relying on what John Samuel (the Executive Chairman) stated in the last RNS, which is why I quoted his words.

I have been invested and may take a position again once the recapitalisation concerns have been addressed - regenerative medicine / device platforms are part of my thematic investing philosophy.

Other than my Pictet funds I am only directly exposed to the Chinese economy by my Abcam investment and I expect that they will be immune from the trade wars. They sell the buckets and spades in the shape theory that interests me; a small dividend yield but the mcap is growing and they are one of the few Aim success stories.

Not too sure about chip manufacturers - they were boosted by demand for graphic / maths processors for gaming and mining coins but Google's Chromium project has made thin client servers pervasive.

With the shifting of Chinese production to neighboring countries coupled with the trade stand off, the Purchasing Managers' Index is likely to be weighted towards higher value machined parts to be used in production in Vietnam etc.

Unfortunately the data will not reveal that much as they are selective in what is reported [and many think the data sets are manipulated so the quant models will introduce noise] and may attempt to mask the tightening of liquidity risk management on smaller banks.

Some think I know fek all - they may be correct.

The 'Real Donald Trump' may be making a strategic mistake as shunning immigration is creating an aging population profile which has caused stagnation in Japan and hangs over Europe. Who looks after older people if not enough youngsters are being are being born and raised? Will they have to offer tax incentives for breeding? Will they have to offer universal care for the next generation?

There will be opportunities in remote Skype Doctor appointments [the energy infrastructure will consume copper and require distributed battery storage facilities]. How will they keep the potential immigrants that they will rely on healthy before allowing them to serve their economic needs [advances in plant tech and the use of big data in health].

The Chinese face similar problems caused by their one child policy. There are economic theories about free trade and protectionism.

Google gives the definition as 'a stupid or ineffectual person'.

I have quoted from the RNS that states that the 'person responsible for this announcement is John Samuel, Executive Chairman'. Are you now asserting that the Chairman is stupid?

Some seem to have unreasonable short term expectations - the RNS dated 14/11/19 states:

'The Company estimates that, following the Repayment, it currently has sufficient working capital until at least the end of March 2020. The Board is currently considering the funding requirements, and further announcements will be made at the appropriate time.'

'There is still much to do to bring on stream new capacity but with strong demand for our products and the hard work and dedication of our employees we will continue to review our funding options.'

'the drawdown of these tranches is now subject to MidCap's discretion and satisfactory recapitalisation of the Company at that time'

You cannot sell 'a lot of product' from an expanded facility that has not been brought on stream. Many reference that they think that Woodford are close to finishing selling - why has there been no RNS stating any reduction in the holding by Link Financial Solutions? And, what about the recapitalisation?

No doubt the rampers will want others to report the post but it is what the RNS states.

I suspect that they would have released an RNS stating that they had applied before one of the subsequent placings to support the share price (a bit like keeping shareholders informed about tax credit expectations).
