I do not make Ocado's policies so suggesting I have paid to jump a q is laughable - maybe a bit of jealousy?

The nightmare has only just started. Most would acknowledge that house prices are over inflated in the UK (and most of the 'first world') and unaffordable to most. With wide spread unemployment looming, mortgage payments will be missed, transferring pain to the banking sector which will be unable to extend the credit required for further house purchases at the same time as lending to businesses to restart economies.

I expect taxation will have to increase in time as the debt being taken on by central governments will have to be repaid... So those indebted will have less income and have to liquidate assets. The ogre of negative equity is waking from a decade long slumber. The article below is about the US market but the same points apply to the UK:

You don't get it. I was invested and escaped with a small profit. I have been following the share since then - we all need to learn from our investing mistakes to prevent making them again.

I would never have bought a share in Valirx if I knew that members of the BOD were personally involved, especially when they do by differing surnames.

When a company issues an RNS stating that money is running out caution needs to be taken. It gives me no joy to see how many people have lost money investing in the BOD's dream.

I fear an RNS on Monday saying that the music has stopped, the dance is over and Security are clearing the room [that is Administrators are being appointed].

They did warn that the funds are likely to run out at the end of March - see extract from RNS dated 10 March below:

'The Company's working capital position remains extremely weak, with the Company being dependent on the support of its creditors to continue trading.

In the event that all resolutions are not passed at the forthcoming General Meeting it is unlikely that the Company will be able to raise further capital and would unlikely be able to continue trading.'

As the meeting was adjourned the resolutions do not seem to have been passed.

The share price action is confusing me as well. Ospraie AG Science are now up to over 25% which shows confidence on their behalf but Lombard Odier Asset Management and Richard Griffiths have been reducing their stakes.

COVID is going to have an impact - I expect short term pain for PHC as rural American economies are damaged. The Brazilian President (Bolsonaro) gives me little confidence either. The Politico link below paints a bleak picture:

There will be an upside - COVID is causing protectionism, especially in food exporting countries. As and when they recover from this deadly Virus the food supply systems will need to be rebuilt and demand for additives such as those made by PHC should be in high demand. There is also going to be ongoing demand for feedstock in Asia / China as they rebuild their animal protein supplies (mainly pork and chicken feed) after the African Swine Flu outbreak has been controlled.

The future should be good but I fear that the progress to free cash flow has been kicked at least another year into the future. As such I am sitting on the sidelines even though I was tempted by a short term trade at 4.7p a couple of weeks ago.

I wish all those who understand / appreciate the importance of PHC's products a healthy and profitable future. In the meantime, respect to our NHS and other front-line workers who are trying to keep us safe.
