Your maths may be a little faulty?

UKOG's sp end of Feb was 0.575p; end of March the sp was 0.37p. The decline over the month was 35.65%.

UKOG's sp did not hold steady even though you (and those who recommended your post) may have wished it did.

I have an agricultural trade in mind so found the Bloomberg article below of interest. Early modelling is suggesting an active season with the larger storm systems evolving in September and October (just in time to devastate the 2020 US harvests). Food is certainly an area to watch over the next 18 months.

I take it from the deflection that you do concede that the government can change laws as when they choose and have the numbers to do so.

The UK's contribution to EU budgets is / would be based on the relative strength of the constituent economies - with the UK heading into a depression who knows what contributions or rebates will be in place if the UK extends its membership.

And my comment about extending the UK's membership of the EU is based on the practicabilities that the country currently faces - as you will know I have little respect for the current Prime Minister so like to remind those who hero-worship him the inherent flaws in his abilities.

So what - how often does the government change or introduce new laws? How few days did the COVID emergency legislation take to pass?

100% agreement - it is the point I was making. And, I think it may be coming sooner than some expect - Trump is going to flood the US with borrowed money in the hope of getting re-elected. A significant increase in US National Debt coupled with a decline in US GDP (caused by the emerging depression) will undermine the value of the $.

There are many hoping that the price of oil will go back up to the highs seen over the last few years and others who laugh at the idea, thinking that there is no chance as oil becomes a stranded asset.

What is never considered on bulletin boards is the possibility / probability of the collapse in the value of the Dollar. Trump and the GOP are opening up the cheque book to try and keep another depression at bay at least until after the Presidential elections in November. The Republicans are dying out and are taking increasingly desperate steps to preserve their power and the privileges that come with that power.

When oil gets back over $100 a barrel the value of the $ is likely to be worth much less than it is today so the change in price will be meaningless. The link below will be of interest to the 'tin-hat brigade'.

It is years since I left central government, but they were investigating doing away with cash before blockchain tech took off. It makes it easier to stop terrorists (which means they can have a more efficient tax system and prevent citizens from buying drugs or sex or anything else the ruling state does not approve of such as abortion or donating to a religion).

The figures from Nebraska will be key in the next few weeks - rural USA has not been hit hard yet.

They will be key in how Trump and the GOP react - unfortunately US Military action has just got more likely as it is a political distraction and good for the economy. UK Defence stocks will be worth keeping an eye on, especially anything related to helicopters and drones.
