I agree, but they import some food, liquor and drugs, so they could be poisoned by the imports themselves. It is not a good position to be in as the breakdown of global supply chains makes goods more expensive just as this nasty virus makes nations poorer.

Europe imports medicine from India that India makes with precursors imported from China. The current escalation between the 2 emerging super powers will threaten our supplies of some medicines.

In an alternative reality it might be speculated that a decision maker shorted a share before giving a negative ruling, closes the position and then goes long knowing that the decision will be reversed. But in our reality people are honest and would not even have thought about such a devious course of action, would they?

In this new era of clarity and openness some would consider it beholden on Valirx to explain why, and to whom, any such payments reported in the next accounts are made.

And, bonuses should not 'be set in stone' - there should be rigorous conditions met before any payments are made.

I suggest you keep records of how much they cost you today as they may be needed to participate in the inevitable class action lawsuit that might end up bankrupting the council. A claim for mental anguish in the small claims court may also work?

Good to see that the Market Makers will not let these shares sell easily - they must also be aware of the incredible value that the mounting losses represent. I wonder if the will drop the Bid even further to try and get more on the cheap?

Their RNS this morning caught my eye but on closer examination it is just one for a watchlist - they are in a field that should prove lucrative but, as you say, are heavily exposed to China and global politics are a bit of a mess at the moment so the political risk is a rather large added factor.

Investors want to blame past management for their losses but management state in the June Q&A:

'As such, all current board members recognise their contributions, and continue to wish them well in their future endeavours.'

So the Board does not blame them and the products have not changed and yet some seem to want to ramp this into a company worth £100m and more. Remember, if somebody has thousands of posts and says that this can only go up in value they must be right (or maybe they would like you to buy and force the share price up so they can sell into the strength.

Employers with 20 to 99 employees who are planning redundancies must lodge form HR1 with the Redundancy Payments Service 30 days before the first redundancy. Employers will have to pay at least a fifth of the wages of furloughed employees from August. Expect the beginnings of a wave of redundancies to start being announced on Monday and Tuesday as some businesses will need to minimise the costs they incur and will have had time to work out if they will survive post Covid.
