I do not think SS has failed; some shareholder malaise is based on them buying at prices inflated by what I consider to be overly optimistic expectations. Under these circumstances, I do think that SS has been overpaid but that would be different if the project had lived up to the expectations of the overly optimistic.

My point was that people can try to effect change should they wish to - simply moaning endlessly on an anonymous bulletin board does not make one iota of difference.

There are probably enough dissatisfied investors who read this bulletin board to get to the required 5% of issued shares to call an EGM to vote on (1) a resolution to dismiss SS and (2) a resolution to make the terms of any bonuses subject to shareholder approval at every AGM.

Even if the resolutions did not pass the BOD will have been sent a clear message that long-suffering investors are unimpressed with the value created (or not) to date.

As Tymers so often writes, 'UKOG United'. Maybe it is time for shareholders to unite?

If the 2 large trades were a 'couple of directors flogging their cheap placing shares' then shareholders may have been taken for a ride.

It is more dangerous if the number of people being infected at the same time result in more people needing hospitalisation than the system can cope with.

In the latest TWiV podcast (#634) they were moaning the political pressure being applied to get to a vaccine that will have at least some benefit in 50% of the population and how that approach is channelling funding towards vaccines that may be partially effective whilst ignoring other approaches that would be more effective but would take lonegr to develop.

The Virologists made specific reference to their interest in a phase 1/2 clinical trial underway in China exploring dendritic cell and T cell–based vaccines [Shenzhen Geno-Immune Medical Institute]. Scancell's ImmunoBody vaccine exploits dendritic cells so the interest of the TWiV presenters is noteworthy and even RAMPWORTHY.

Not everyone is positive - ITX are tying to break into established markets where the main players do not welcome newcomers to the table with better or innovative products that may disrupt their dominate positions. The company has needed partial recapitalisation twice to date as generating free cash flow is taking longer than first expected.

They really ought to offer up a few crumbs to Scancell - the odds of Scancell succeeding seem to be better than 99 to 1 so it is an investment a gambler would make (and the government tried a gamble on quick herd immunity in the beginning).

The high street as we used to know it is in fatal decline. Only those who were fast enough to get online will survive - Next are one of the few and that is because they had the distribution system from having an efficient catalogue business.

I needed to buy a neon bulb starter during the lock down; the last one I bought cost £1.50 from my local lighting shop; I bought 5 for £2 on eBay including postage. Just another example of the obsolescence of the High Street.

If you saw £4 per share during the last 6 months you need to go to Specsavers.

I am looking forward to them becoming available in the UK - there are too many shares going to unrealistically high valuations at the moment. No fees will bring more volume which will bring lower spreads - the perfect storm to profit from the greedy. And if they make fee free trading on AIM stocks available to UK customers they are likely to open up the market on the same terms to their US customers [so more volume!].
