Depends on how much you are invested in the value of your property; some who have large percentage mortgages have never experienced real interest rates... Even if mortgage rates went up to 5%, they would still not be real rates as they would be less than inflation. But if you have a £200k mortgage and rates went up by 3% the extra £500 a month would cripple some when added to the extra £200 a month some will be paying for energy.
Property could be in for a bit of heartburn
