The best part is at the end where the 'soldiers' are stocking up with dutch courage; being 1/2 blind drunk must really help with aiming and driving a tank whilst incapable is safe as long as you do not run over a landmine or drive into a substation or an armoury.

You were correct - 1.95p is a very distant memory; 'only' 30 bags required to get back there:

Angus UP Alba UP...15 Oct 2018 14:00 ... Just wish we could start to see some sustainable upward movement of our SP... Can't be much longer to wait, now, then this price will be a distant memory... IMO
Not for me... but well done if you got a few quid. I have been expecting bad news there ever since they crashed the share price with the botched fund raising a few years ago. £30 to £1 a share makes me terrified...
The count is a bit slow - according to the count on the members page, his 9:29 post was number 90000. I am going to open some biscuits to have with my cup of tea to mark this momentous occasion. Belgium biscuits; none of this local cheep stuff...
MAFL - unfortunately the price price has not held but there are further catalysts coming in the next couple of weeks. I could have got a quick 15% on my purchases this week but can be stubborn at times... I doubt it will go back to 15.2p to sell so my trading position should remain lossless.

31 May Cash - £1.8m [interims] 9 Dec - placing £300k. Is this just one month cash burn? January - how much more will they raise, when and a what discount?
Will the Broker Option get filled; maybe the posters who post Strong Buy will be buying, but I doubt it.
I have bought a trading pot again, but the spread is nasty, so it is easy to get caught out trying to be clever. This afternoon it was 15.2 to sell, 15.8 to buy, so you lose 4% when you buy.
JV touched on the Golden Sun Resources investment in Costa Rico. MAFL have around 5.5% of the project. They should receive sign off on financing a bigger mill on the 18th of December which will pay for a plant to process 450k tonne a day to produce 35 / 45 thousand ounces per year. JV says that this will then become a sellable asset.
Historic figures were around 1 million ounces in the ground at 1.5g a ton; I would expect a net profit of around $500 an ounce which could mean over $1m a year... sellable for $4 or $5m maybe.
The future seems shiny for this overlooked share whether you are a trader looking for a reasonable risk / reward ratio or a longer term shareholder or, like myself, a mix of both. Father Xmas seems to be smiling for existing shareholders.
Thanks for the MAFL link... In the interview the CEO says that they have the Portuguese investment on the books at £1.7m and that they will be paid $2.5m tomorrow or Monday as part of the sale process AND then they should still have the option to sell the remainder for a minimum of $10.3m next year.
That gives a reasoned NAV of £15m for a £5m m/cap. It is the x-mas bargain imo and I have bought back my trading parcel at an average of just over 15p. Even at a 25% discount of NAV the share price should be over 30p. There should be a spike in the next few days when they RNS receipt of the funds and release their annual accounts.
It may not be an overnight multi-bagger but 30% in a few days or close on 100% in 6 months seems very rewardable for negligible risk. As always, DYOR etc
At around 7 minutes in JV states that MAFL have the LS project on the books at £1.7m and compares it to a floor of $10.3m based on the PEA. That figure could increase if MAFL can get the other 15% back from the Portuguese GOV, or if the figures improve with the Feasibility Sturdy. They should be paid $2.5m tomorrow, which more than covers the £1.7m [£2.04m].
And the expectation of £8m more to come if they sell the 5% as per the agreement struck recently. A company with hard assets worth £15m or more for just £5m! When people watch this and read the RNS confirming receipt of the $2.5m tomorrow / Monday I expect the teens may be in the past.
