UKOG has not done badly; it has done terribly, delivering catastrophic losses to shareholders who have held. ocelot doing his best to deflect yet again, and failing yet again. Does he not realise that his attempts just get laughed at?

They were lucky - the plans called for a certain specification of steel piping, which would have taken many months to fabricate. But they were able to source other pipes from a stalled project somewhere in Europe and change the plan to use that readily available pipework. Also, they used interlocking prefab concrete slabs, which also sped things up.

I tried to find the article I read about this during the week to link to, but could not... The next ones will take longer.

The Q&A from the recent Investor Meet session are now online. The thoughts of any battery chemists / material scientists who read this board who be much appreciated as some of the Q&A are past what I was taught at school decades ago.

I still get the feeling that they are onto something but they are not sure if it can be commercialised without years of improvement until / unless they are able to license the tech; promising but a 'guppy in a shark tank' gobbling up precious cash as it progresses.

Yes - with the rapid rise this month, I had too much tied up in a single share. I still expect to see 30p by Easter, but learnt a long time ago that being greedy can backfire, so I stick to some loosely defined rules and those rules said bank some profit whilst it is on offer.

The next election doesn't have to be until 2025. But, as Andrew Marr looks back "in anger" at a disastrous 2022, he predicts the next year could see the end of Rishi Sunak as Prime Minister.

Ends slightly optimistically; but we really badly need to be trading on better terms with our closest markets. And the longer Brexit remain politically toxic, the worse the damage will be.

I had to sell my trading shares today; the SP there is up a stonking amount in a month and I ended up with too much money in a single share. A pleasant place to be but there is no point in having rules if you do not follow them.

Tangible progress; the 40% discount over Net Tangible Assets (NTA) of £32 seems too high, with the assets returning around 10% profit on the NTA value. I look forward to watching the body language in the next presentation.
