Turmoil has only been postponed... the 'Bank of Japan’s deputy governor Shinichi Uchida basically promised not to raise rates further while “markets are unstable"'. Inflation is running at 2.5% in Japan whilst interest rates are at 0.25% and it is creating political risk; interest rates will go up in Japan. It is a matter of when, not if.

And, as soon as the rates go up money will follow them especially if rates are going down in the US and expectations of further raises and cuts het entrenched.
