I expect that the logic will be that if you do not support the President then you are unpatriotic and therefore should not receive support from the Federal GOV. By extension, getting a mortgage becomes more difficult as the eventual buyer of the mortgage could be Fannie Mae or Fannie Mac. And if your credit is impinged by not being able to get a mortgage you will pay more for rent, car loans, credit cards etc. Then no fly lists will be expanded as dissenters could be considered a threat to the law abiding public...

I read something this morning about the ridiculously high portion of consumer spending coming from those earning over $250k per year. The article stated that people were feeling free to spend thanks to the feeling of financial comfort from high property prices and high share prices.

The same article warned of the risk of a change in sentiment to the US economy... Dropping share prices and softening house prices could suck even more oxygen out of the burning economy as rich folks cut back and the poor have nothing to spare anyway [Dow down another 500 points so far today, even with Trump chickening out of tariffs on Mexico and Canada].

Never lose sight of the fact that the Ruzzian economy is on its knees. As long as Europe does not go back to buying the amounts of gas and oil that it did from then in the past, then Ruzzia stays in a deep hole where the oligarchs are incentivised to get rid of Putin.

Reuters is reporting that the number of announced layoffs in the United States has "jumped to levels not seen since the last two recessions."
