I don't see him walking back on the Canada & Mexico tariffs that are due to start on Tuesday. And, they are 'crazy' tariffs that are going to do 'crazy' damage to the motor manufacturing industry. Some parts go across borders multiple times; adding 25% each time is going to make manufacturing vehicles uneconomic and will force the industry to its knees in weeks. Add in a shrinking economy and Trump is going to be looking for wins anywhere he can find them, so all is not lost.
