No doubt we are in for some fireworks in March and April!
Marine Licence, the UK Budget, Appledore Yard firing up on all cylinders, possible new contract announcements and who knows what other surprises we have in store.
I'm in little doubt with a little more patience we will finally be off to the races. It is never a straight line up but where the company seems to have positioned and readied itself now means to me at least there is more upside here than downside!

The Company has to have both the organisation staffed and the infrastructure in place to win the contracts so it is a bit chicken and egg.

The new gates at Appledore, the robotic welder at Belfast, the Project Manager appointed for IslandMagee along with a host of other appointments and site preparedness projects has already positioned INFA where they are ready to execute contracts subject to the tenderer firing the starting pistol.

As we finally reach escape velocity (Mars Perseverence pun) from COVID the next few weeks are going to be stellar for investors.

Cenkos MM is "managing" the price. There has been a big seller but I also think there is someone building a stake.

With millions of elderly folk receiving their vaccinations and desperate to venture out having been cooped up for so long the cruise market is in for a bonanza in the coming months and years.
Bookings are already being made at furious rates so once the cruise ships can hit the high seas in numbers the contracts that INFA have negotiated will be executed of that i'm sure.

This really has (is) been one of those FOD shares. I've been here since the start in 2008 (please don't ask what the SP was back then but at one point the founding CEO was worth £60 million on paper (Portland Gas)).

Now that we aren't just a one trick pony (although it will be a highly lucrative one if and when they pull it out of the regulatory hat) and have real assets ; in a world busy reinventing supply chains ,we really are going to have to go back to our roots as engineers that build and not just think of the next great idea that don't get funded here (foreign investors/owners).

I read somewhere the US Innovates, China Duplicates and Europe Regulates. Well, we aren't "in" Europe in quite the same way now so all bets are off - or hopefully on. I voted to stay in but I'm becoming more optimistic, not just because of the vaccine fiasco over La Manche but because I firmly believe that Britain's Got Talent.

Tango1 it is my firm understanding that there are multiple contracts of materiality that are at or very close to executable form; these remain unsigned to date because of COVID and the impact this has had on being able to visit & inspect the yard(s), confidence in the timing of the investment decision(s) and in certain sectors eg defence procurement awaiting government pronouncements on policy and strategy.

I do not doubt that were it not for COVID we would have been in receipt of at least one or more RNSs by now. I expect them to come not least as so much has been bid for across the multiple sectors

I’m of the view that the share price looks like a very attractive punt if you are inclined to believe the Marine Licence will be awarded by March 31st.

If you’re not in that camp but still think that there are some chunky contracts on the horizon then the same holds true.

However if you’re thinking yet another call for capital is heading our way before either of the above happens ie in the next 6-8 weeks I can understand the sentiments expressed here.

Despite the Long March and the false peaks along the journey (excuse the metaphors) I’m of the belief that business will begin to reopen in Q2 and return to near normal in the latter half of 2021. That means this year is highly likely to be transformative for earnings.

You may remember that BP was an investor in this project a few years ago but pulled out as they were losing bags of money in their established storage portfolio in Europe; haven’t times changed though.
Provided we get the ML I’m a firm believer there could be considerable competition from the large utility players, oil and gas companies and trading houses both for equity and capacity in the project.
Fingers crossed the regulator and the government make the correct decision as this project could be the cornerstone of big environmental infrastructure investments in this part of the world.

My thoughts are that you have made a wise investment at an opportune time; and for the early risers we will be looking at the latest company accounts in about 12 hours!

I think we have seen some large sells which may have been flippers who took a position in the recent placing just to make a penny or two if they could. Hopefully we will see things settle down now!

I actually hold more shares than I did before the recent placing. The new shares just diluted my percentage in the company by about 0.7%

Edwin Poots is unwell so whilst I’m sure we all wish him well and can access the treatment he needs to make a speedy recovery. I do hope this doesn’t delay the decision.
He does of course first have to be in receipt of the recommendation (one way or the other) from DAERA!
With the closure of the extended (extended extended additional ?) consultation period today and assuming their hasn’t been some incredible new revelation in environmental science or cetacean behaviours then one can hope a letter has already been drafted and will find its way into Mr Poots in tray before the month is out.

If there is no substantially new of different information that contradicts the baseline studies and other environmental reports particularly on the bathymetric work then I think DAERA will have something drafted and to the Minister by end January.

This does look interesting for the H&W pipeline. It seems these guys do have solid financial backers and clearly have the know-how to design these vessels. I understand that AIM investors are rightly sceptical about the value of LOIs however with the contracts Triumph are already starting to fulfil eg in Croatia it’s clear they mean business; hopefully the senior management at INFA will follow through on this opportunity

There are oodles of great green projects out there but the biggest issue is to manage system intermittency & how best to store energy efficiently .... CO2, H2, CH4, air etc as that is the key to managing the UK's variable power requirements. It will be interesting to see how we get through this winter in terms of price volatility and if it's a severe one possible power outages and/or demand side management.

I think gas storage is undervalued, especially if the gas is not methane so no emissions! If it is methane it can be stored and the CO2 removed upon combustion then you don't have quite the same demand for batteries which require mining operations across the planet to extract rare earth metals etc. This is the cause of lots of pollution and geo political troubles. There is no shortage of natural gas so if we can use it without polluting the environment it has to be at least a contributor to the way forward imho
