While they haven't managed to get the share price below 180p yet, they have managed to reduce the share price from 224p. IMO.

1msn, I would have to agree. Since GLG Partners disclosed their 0.50% short position on 24/10/22 when the share price was trading around 182p. They have since reduced on 10/11/22 to 0.48%. The share price has IMO been held back since this disclosure having reached 224p on Q3 results day This makes a mockery of do your own research IMO when a big player can control the share price with their algo trading.

A share price close above 200p would be nice. Currently 198.20p.

HSBC raises S4 Capital price target to 265 (255) pence - 'buy'

I think that S4 should be trading at HSBC's target price now, not in 12 months time. Considering that just over a week ago S4 slightly beat market expectations with their Q3 results, and here we are trading 33p below the share price we ended the day at 224.20p. I dread to think what the share price would be had S4 disappointed the market.

Here we are after reporting very good Q3 results with the share price currently down 4.21%. I don't know what more the company can do, other than move over to the USA.

I agree 1msn, one day last week I was watching the trades go through, there were 29 sell trades with about 5,000 shares, all trades were recorded on the same second, all very low amounts in the low hundreds and managed to reduce the already weak share price by a further 2p. If its that easy to set up algo trading to manipulate the share price then the share price can go to any price that someone wants it to. Maybe others will know better than myself but would this clear manipulation be allowed to happen over the pond in the USA?

Unfortunately shorts have hold of this share price, currently down 3.87%. IMO. 

I would guess, maybe short covering? I wouldn't want to be short on S4 Capital. Very undervalued @1.3 X earnings IMO.
I'm just speculating but maybe some news out over the weekend regarding the late spike in share price.

Mohamnx18, they were reported on ADVFN trades. They were reported as buys, but they could easily be sells. I strongly suspect that they were off book trades, so they could have been buys or indeed sells.

2x 1.5 million trades @212.80 reported as buy trades at 16:16pm. May be SMS topping up.

CORRECTION Caused the share price to fall 2p.

I've just counted 29 trades all reported as sell trades, all on the same second, all for small amounts of shares. It caused the share price to fall over 1p, This is clear indication of share price manipulation and should be banned IMO.
