You will see from prev posts the share price seems to have no relation to the trades. Today 8 big buys - £133K & 6 big sells - £142K. This has been going on for weeks now, which could infer a T in progress. If I was brave I would buy more now, but will watch with cowardly interest.

Somebody thinks so. End of day trading - 2 buys 1 of £0.5 M and another of £11.5 M, both Type O. A post on TW board said Type A deals were Sets deals and buys are recorded as sells & viceversa. Can't believe that. All the sells earlier were Type A. If those were really Buys the price would be well on its way to 1688!

Since 10th 4 Big Buys of 62 K - 6 Big Sells of 2,870 K - but share price remains the same! MktCap is only 260 K ie shares sold = 1% of that. Weird or What?

Trading volumes are very small. I have bought twice (3/12/14 & 25/6/15), which went thru almost immediately, with HSBC. An excellent service as far as I am concerned. I have never had that issue. Who do you deal with? Easy to invest a small amount in this Coy as a potential Microsoft. Watch the trend. They will announce something (Graphene cures baldness?) and the share price soars, followed by a gradual decline. Timing is critical. Not sold any yet but I'm still 15% up. On the next surge I will sell some and buy back on the following decline. Best of luck.

But - just 2 deals on Friday tot £1,300. This drove the SP from 1.75 to 2.125 pence ie + 20%. So buy £10,000 ie about 500,000 shares, mebbe the price will increase by 100% to 17.5p. Obviously this is manipulating the market and even for a private investor, is a bit dubious so I don't recommend it - particularly because the spread is a massive 43%. At least when you get a security check - what is your biggest share holding - you can answer 1/2 M in csfg!

Hi CamMan, I have no idea of your Charting methods, but nice to see your positive attitude! As you say it is made entirely of Carbon atoms, but arranged in a flat layer of 6, and the hexagons they form stick together because they fit perfectly, like Diamonds which do the same thing, but in 3 Dims. The original way of making it was sellotape on Graphite to remove one layer of graphene from the graphite. This is hardly a commercial method and that is why I said if it costs more than gold to produce, it will be limited to just a few specialist apps, ie Colds and Baldness! If it can be produced cheaply the Company doing it will make a fortune Imo. To go short on Construction now when all the political parties have realised there is a massive shortage of housing, seems strange to me. Over the last year all the major builders have increased in value by between 50 and 75% and until interest rates go up (which won't be any time soon Imo), I think there progress will continue. Better off shorting Supermarkets, Oil, Mining etc. Only about half the houses required are being built, since the banking crisis, which almost destroyed the industry. If you double building you double profits and eventually the share price. I appreciate you don't need much of a margin to make a lot of money and the price will dip occasionally. The opposite is happening! 3 big buys £ 54 K, 13 big sells £ 2.6 M Yet again almost no price movement. 5 of 5 Brokers say Buy Per 17.2 based on EpsG of 62.8 giving Peg of 0.27. Too good to be true?

I have the greatest respect for your system and appreciate how the shape of a chart could anticipate it's future direction. But Target 1145, Resistance 1135, Stop Loss 1125. Ie dif of 20p in £11.00! If you trade these shares every day your system might work, but look at construction. Over the last Year the biggest 7 Coys have all made between 50% and 75% Sp growth excluding their big Divis. This "Wonder Material" will be used everywhere for everything in a few years time, but if it ends up costing more than gold it won't. Note the name of the Company - Applied Graphene - ie applications and basic research. Their production facility at what was ICI Wilton on Teesside is a production pilot plant. Hopefully the Boffins will make Graphene as cheap as chips and produce 1,000's of tons of it, or they will license Dow or another Company to do it. It is a very competitive market but the Man Univ people who invented it should still be ahead. Most likely some big company will buy them at a much larger value than their current MktCap.

Who is selling the shares that are being bought? I noticed Arm have bought 4M treasury shares (£44 M) in their own company. On looking up treasury shares one thing mentioned was that it makes a Tover more difficult! So is the opposite the case - Is iomg selling T Shares? The only other explanation I think is that MM's are having a drunken party and they've lost the plot. Anyway, if there are more buys than sells it can't be a bad signal however you look at it.

If you look at the trades > £ 0.5 M more bought than sold today. To balance the market they should be > £ 300 imo. Something strange happening!

I have no shares in this Company, but watch it. I think it could be an ideal recovery stock. Either it will go bust, recover or it will be bought. I think the last 2 options are more likely and in either case it is a good gamble. Only worth 3M now, so you could buy some shares and twist the market into thinking there is a recovery! It was a good Company, then the CEO resigned (for health reasons if I remember correctly), while it took on contracts that grew into more than it could handle - ie short term cash flow issues. If their workforce is still there (and expertise) they could still make the company work again. Mebbe 70p in a year, but don't mortgage your house on this! By the way, when I look up CSFG I get Camden school for Girls. Good idea to add Ltd, otherwise the thought police might start questioning you.

Over the past few weeks there have been several large trades, you can see on the trade screen today 4 big buys of 224K shares and 2 big sells of 48K.. Don't know how to get the History, but it looks to me like there are far more buys than sells. I thought buys and sells had to equal each other. The Govt can print money whenever it likes, but Coys are not allowed to print Share Certs without an announcement. None of this seems to have any effect on the share price! Anyone know What's Going On.

Do you know anything about this company, or just look at graphs all day? If you have shorted this company recently you will have lost money. You are no doubt a day trader, and I wish you the best of luck. Sage is a rock solid company which has changed the way it does business from selling (the best accounting SW) to renting it. That is why the SP is going up, because it is more profitable. It's not going to go bust and can handle the short term decrease in revenue. All companies have a real value, and they are either over/under valued depending on the price, and how you value them. I have had shares with them since 1996, and they've done OK!

This is the smallest investment I have. Still 10% up so am happy! I think I will hold this for some time, the price is going south quite fast now but it doesn't really bother me. On any announcement they will surge again. I don't think I can lose anything, cos another Coy will buy them - if for no other reason, for the expertise of their employees. This type of Company will surge on good news, then fall back with none. It is no more than a matter of timing. Looks like a good time to buy now! Potentially a Microsoft. When they quadruple in price, sell your initial investment, so they cost nothing - can't go wrong! If you invest in several coys like this some might fail but one might fly - the one which flies pays off the ones which fail.

£302M is a vast amount of money but it was an uncrossing trade "UT", which means it is basically of little meaning - just an adjustment by the MM's. It certainly went thru (because it was a "UT"). What is more interesting is the previous, trades which were generally big buys. This meant that the MM's needed to get loads of stock to be able to fulfill the new buys they expect. I have read that UT trades should be ignored because they are no more than adjustments. I don't understand these things much, but am a long term Investor, so it really doesn't matter to me, too much at all. Bet you can't remember the last word of that song!

Don't think there is a Takeover, the share price would have rocketed. More big trades yesterday (02.27 now). I think you are right about the MM's. If it was an individual trader (or org) there should be some RNS news, and why do many big buys as opposed as opposed to 1 huge one. As you say, the fact that there has been almost no price movement suggests it is an adjustment as opposed to real buying. By the way there was a buy of bdev (UT ie uncrossing) of £302M, which is probably equally meaningless. To watch trades daily is of little value unless you are a day trader. Brokers all recommend buy, reasonable Per and low Peg, so looks worth buying regardless of trades.
