Afternoon all. Warm and sunny today, so spent some time at the allotment. No trading today, but p/f made some good gains. Now back to where I was at the beginning of the month!
Wish I hadn’t bought TW when I did a few weeks ago - I’m down nearly 10% on them.
T - tend not to read the boards of ARB (or EUA) as they tend to be very tedious in terms of going over the same facts/hypotheses and slanging matches. ARBKF price holding up in the states though

Afternoon all. Been to the allotment this afternoon. Slight recovery to finish just in the blue. ABF and my house builders seems to have turned a corner. Will get my LGN dividends tomorrow.

Afternoon all. Losing a fair bit again today. I’d take it personally, but comparing it with FTSE100 this month it’s a similar loss. Topped up LLYD, as it dropped over 2% earlier. Not a lot, as I don’t have any spare funds.

T - I’m enjoying The Pact, it has a good story, and you are lucky to have some lovely scenery on your doorstep.
Linking into this, there is a new detective series starting on Ch4 this Thursday called “Before we die”. It’s set in my home town Bristol. Any of you oldies remember “Shoestring”?
Trading wise, sold a big chunk of LGN and split it between TPK and SKG.

Hope you are all doing better than me and the weather here has turned cloudy and rainy.
Lots of red still.
Bought small amount of RBW. I looked at them a while back, but thought them expensive. However, on the back on today’s RNS, (perhaps foolishly) bought in.
States wise - a few weeks ago I bought TSM, PFZ and IP. Currently overall up £179 (includes a small loss on TSM,which I just sold, as I read in the papers there is a drought in Taiwan, which could impact on production) . Pfizer hasn’t done anything, but IP doing well.

How you had a good weekend. P/f in the red by a few hundred. Sold my RFX this morning that I’ve held a couple of months with a loss of £111. Hadn’t gone anywhere, and don’t think will do this year with all the uncertainty around foreign travel to the mid and Far East etc. Got some investing money, but will see if CARD falls any further tomorrow.

T - agreed. I’m only confident in trading spikes with LLYDS at the mo as I genuinely believe they are 20-30% under valued. Perhaps I will follow some other shares on a dummy basis as practice?
n - yes I think they are sound. I’m really a hold with ABF. I’ve made a fair bit out of them. Was planning to hold most until their trading update in July I think.

Morning all. Atrocious weather here again.
Stupid start to the day. Made a rookie error with OCT premiering at 8am this morning that we all know about on the HL app. Namely the requote button being in the same position on the screen as to place order. Accidental bought, and then deliberately and immediately sold £400 worth (all I had left). Lost £120. Price has collapsed since.
Also another narrow escape, ABF didn’t rise, so didn’t buy CARD. Just as well as a rights issue is in the offing and down 10%. I’m off for drinks and bite to eat starting at lunchtime, so no more trading today (thank goodness)

m & n - my cash ISA was with Charter Savings Bank. HL offers a diy electronic transfer using their website. Unfortunately, CSB wasn’t on the drop down menu to choose from, so had to do a paper form and no doubt subject to delays of snail mail and human action. I’ve had two apologies from HL for the delay (so far ! )

I made up a third of the losses incurred yesterday.
ABF did well today, and I’m hoping that with the release of high street retail stats tomorrow’s it will jump a wee bit more. I’m then tempted to sell some and buy a bit more CARD if CARD doesn’t rise too much. Slightly risky.

Afternoon all. Late on parade today due to chores. P/f just in the blue (unlike the grey rain clouds here) nothing exciting me into selling to buy. Perhaps just as well that my Cash ISA to HL is taking a long time, as I’d probably have lost 5% of it these past two weeks. I’ve had some interesting proposals forwarded by Primary Bid, but I don’t want to sell existing holdings and do any research on them.
Lots of chatter on EUA regarding latest RNS, but all supposition.

T - Given it’s previous slow death spiral, I’ve resigned to losing the lot on ARB, but if I come out of it even I will be delighted. :)

Afternoon all. Lovely day out. Pf even worse. ARB proceeding further the pan. Couldn’t resist but just bought a chunk of LLYD as it dropped 1.8% today. The cash came from my sale of SAR earlier this week.

Morning all. P/f looks truly dreadful - down a few thousand. Off out to visit Tyntesfield (National Trust) today. Should take my mind off things.

Well, the day was going so well this morning. Down about £300 today. At least I sold the SAR at a nice profit before it dropped a further 8%.
Hope you’ve all done much better.

I came back Homs yesterday evening to find that my pf despite a lot of red, was overall blue and up £400. Mainly due to BRWM, but in particular SAR which went up 22% in rumours of nothing (well nothing new anyway). I sold all SAR this morning for a £477 profit. Will look to buy back in if it drops back. Hopefully, no new RNS too soon.
