RE: Still drilling in Zambia20 Dec 2024 18:23
The possibility of a raise for Botswana asset progression in earylish 25 may well be a significant factor underpinning the latest epic fall in this s/p ?!
I flippantly said recently that even I'd top up at sub 1p here. Having thought about it more, I'm now far from sure I would: Because of the fear that NVS would see it more in his self interest - eg justify his salary.. have a punt on Botswana whatever etc - to be open to raising a few million gbp even at sub 1p, for Botswana asset progression.. and, if that were to happen, that raise price potentially becoming the new base for this s/p etc
Towards showing consistency of my thinking here more recently, I note I dumped a quarter of my - not particularly significant - BET here when this got back to my b/e of 2p in early Nov.. (I now wish I'd dumped more again)
PS: More generally, I'm coming around to thinking that I trust Colin Bord more than NVS.. but, towards balance, I'll also offer I fancy the Zambia Assets here in the hands of AA hugely versus CB's xtract Zambia assets ( Galileo Resources etc I don't know enough about to comment on as have never had a holding in any cb vehicle beyond Xtract resources ) I'll also add that I rate Colin Bird's performance as average to poor as Exec Chairman of xtr.l, over the many years I've been involved with that share.
