In that link, I see a Funds selling tab as well as an Institutions selling tab too, SEA ( and buying tabs fabs for both those categories too )

If you add sells from funds and Institutions.. and subtract buys from Funds and Institutions .. there's very approx a 2.5 m surplus sells to buys in that period.... 16.5m vrs 14 m ish... PI buying/selling activity would have to be layered on top too granted ....plenty more buys than sells in the round from them there to balance out....MM's may still be sitting on some too.

London Stock exchange analytics shows volume as v approx, on average, 8m odd shares traded per month - buys and sells -over a few recent months.. which seems kinda in sync with above too..

Generally, I'm not going to draw any conclusions on buying and selling going forward from above, mind..

Decent finish today, thankfully ...and hopefully the start of a strong bounce off that 23p support now.. Maybe a bit early to be confident on that, granted ..... but here's hoping

PS: I should have said below it could be/have been sub 3% II holder('s) selling recently either/too, of course

(Any holder(s) with for eg a per cent or two of total shares in issue here who is selling would clear down/out pretty quickly, at least....especially including decent selling volume over time here already)

30 p ish to 23 p ish in a short few months is punchy down .. not least when the s/p was already on its a+s at 30p ish..

If not meaningful Institutional selling .. and indeed some II's adding even.. who has been doing all the selling in recent months.. must be large PI holder(S) I guess

I believe that, in the round, this RNS is pretty positive.. and will, at least, strengthen the 23p support level that chartists have previously pointed to here.

I've looked to do my bit again this morning by - small - topping here. And I still have at least a few k sitting waiting to put in here... but will just sit and watch and see how this plays out from here for a while now.

This remains one of my favourite plays for 2025.. and as 2025 will soon be upon us, here's to more buying here now/soon in anticipation of a strong 2025!

While plenty of your post does make sense to me Peggy, towards balance, I'd offer that AA drilling in Zambia is ongoing and good news could drop from that whenever in the near term either.... Also there are a next phase of Botswana drilling results to come in the kinda short term too... And there is a chance that first phase Botswana drilling results this week might be decent too, hopefully..

Market seems to be expecting average/poor grades from Botswana assays that are about to be reported this week?!

While this expectation is disappointing to me, it's also pretty unsurprising to me.

But great if the market is off on this expectation. It could of course be...but my latest guess is it might well not be.

(If there were good Botswana grades, it might have worked better to RNS's those last week and then update on good Anglo Zambia progress this week, to add momentum to a rally. The way round it's being done might feel to some like getting the good news out ahead of average etc Botswana grade RNS, as a cushion)

I'll throw some more cash at this IF it goes under 20p too .. not least as my bet is still pretty small here .. and averaging down my price decently comes readily enough off the back.. (and I really like this as a medium term bet .. and happy to be patient ..etc)

Copper licences/mining in Zambia, while very much 'in sweet play' now, is always going to be a hard core/smokey mirrory/dodgy game.. so I understand that Mr Colin Bird plays be those already defined 'rules'.. else he probably wouldn't get to play at all ?!

I agree that Mr Colin Bird should make a statement of support for his strategy here now and buy a bunch - more- of these asap.

And I wouldn't be remotely surprised to see him doing such soon enough either.. he's very wealthy and a hard core punter.. and I genuinely expect he believes there's huge 'ope and opportunity in what we're now involved in in Zambia

(The others Directors effectively haven't touched this with a barge poll for kinda ever - the s/p chart has me add an in fairness to them here :-) -so it might not be unreasonable for us to expect them to continue showing such 'sense' here ?!

We don't know the detail here.. not least the geologists analysis.. Mr Bird and his geologists - and lawyers - and third party experts etc do.

We've just got to hope this is a bet that works out better than many of his previous ones.

Even if it doesn't, it's a somewhat small bet on a scheme of xtr.l revenue inflowing in coming few years.. and there are a fair few potential bet agains lined up from Spring on too..

Success with the drill bit is the way for the long suffering shareholders to get back to breakeven - or beyond even- here..

This mornings RNS could readily be described as meaningfully progressive re AA's exploration in Zambia so far imho

Many were expecting the Bots drill results already and ahead of this AA Zambia feedback, though.

While I'm far from sure on this, whatever the Bots drills - so far - results are, the Nomad would deem them material to the s/p, and therefore insist the company releases them to market in a relatively timely fashion. So it could be that the labs are very busy and the wait for this batch of results is taking a few/plenty of weeks longer than originally hoped for.

(Hopefully someone on the call today asks NvS for a current status update on these Bots drill results and feedsback here?

I'll not go on the call as, firstly, this is a medium more than high priority bet - amongst many other bets - for me.... and, secondly, because what's written in an RNS is far more legally binding than what's said on an Investor Call.. I've learned this particularly from Mr Colin Bird over at Xtract Resources ( and I see CB and NvS as similar types in terms of their marketing creativity.. albeit Mr Colin Bird is more charismatic and a better public speaker/presenter than NvS, in a marketing sense... imho)

I'd do a top up here if it goes to 23p.. and would top up plenty more at lower than that, if that happened.. hopefully, for the long suffering here, it doesn't go to 23p.. not to mind lower.

The next RNS here absolutely needs to be a clearly positive one.
