RE: Arc - A takeover target Part 218 Nov 2024 09:53
Depending on their averages and the actual share price at that time people would, of course, have very different perspectives on 4p sale price for their shares.
As this share price is depressingly low at this time and my average is probably relatively low versus the field- at 2p - I'd , for eg, take 4p for my shares readily enough around now.
But the AA drilling can strike meaningfully at any time and if/when such news were to be released this share would rally strongly/quickly, I'd expect . All of a sudden I might then be thinking 4p is absolutely not enough for my shares.
More generally, I absolutely would not be for a raise in 2025 for further Botswana drilling at 1 to 1.5 p ish .... If next drilling results there are plenty better than ones reported last week the s/p should rise decently off back and then a raise at decently over 2p to drill further I'd understand .. if they're not, I'd be for pausing further Botswana drilling for a meaningful period..
What worries me for 2025 here, is that NvS will think about maintaining ongoing Botswana drilling whatever, not least to look to justify his - too large - salary.. and care less about the impact of any raise at a lowly level on his shareholders.
Very generally, when people say they wouldn't trust Colin Bird as far as they could throw him, I'm sympathetic to that. I'm almost as sympathetic to ditto re NvS. (I've been around xtr.l shares a lot longer that arcm.l ...If I'd been in involved here as long as there, I might have left out that almost in my last sentence.)
