I do not think it should be sold for anything like this figure of further explored by xtr.l, in 2025

(xtr.l does not need the money and and I'm bullish POC As we go.. which potentially increases BR value from just sitting on our books)

PS; More generally, full Zambia focus for our money spend in 2025 is a good plan imho..including me being excited by the concept of the exploitation of historic Zambian copper 'waste' dumps.... something CB is now piloting)

The charts showing this share moves punchily readily enough - up as well down even, for those with longer memories- has me less concerned about this punchy fall back, most recently.

So I'm currently small topping up on every .25p down here (on top of a smallish original entry bet at 4p ish.. so my third top incoming soon, seemingly/alas for the long suffering here)

Generally, I doubt this will end up anything other than a small towards midsize bet for me, as it's tricky/volatile.

(eg the only way this would become a more than 10k gbp bet for me would be if it goes way down from here, and I genuinely do not want to see that for those already suffering badly here)

PS: Agreed -marinec- there is trading potential in this share.. but buy and hold would likely make up a big part of my plan here, as I'm absolutely a copper bull (hence I've decent holdings in xtr.l and arcm.l too)

You looking to throw meaningful light on the vague 25 financials in yesterdays RNS is much appreciated, Mr Gee.. and I'm happy to go with your analysis as a decent shot at the 25 financials picture here.

Including me agreeing with you that new management are likely looking to not over promise as a rule, the picture seems solid here still.

While I was hoping for more than solid, I'm happy to adapt my expectations here and show meaningful ongoing patience.

In the round, I still think that - from 27.5 p ish now - there's plenty of room for this s/p to tick on up as we go thru 25... and beyond.... so here's to 40p ish here later this year, please/hopefully

Conceptually, I'm for a CEO here now too Jezzoo .. And Mr Bird as chairman only, for a year or two more..

But, right now, he'd only choose a yes man who he totally dominates, is my guess.. so is it worth it?

Instead, I'm hoping he himself - and/ or a copper rally.. and/or a return of some hot money into aim/this sector generally... from crypto for eg ... etc - turns things around somewhat decently here this year..

If not, he, one way or other, steps away completely from xtr.l in 26, I'd hope

Turning into a painful day now, sadly.

Given some of the numbers crunched here by some posters, that's not hugely surprising.. and clearer again now why blakeley - was? - moved on....

BUT

This company is still turning itself decently around, albeit considerably more slowly than the bulls here have expected.. and still has a much brighter future to come.... and it will pay this debt down steadily/incrementally..and has very strong o&g reserves on its books..so I feel a share price around the late 20's is still justified around now

Towards balance, I'll agree that the update was indeed quiet on profit metrics, Mr Gee..

More generally, my fav line of the days posting so far goes to Mr Spike:

Very generally, todays update was solid.... and this is now turning back up into a quality and progressive company, steadily (more so than quickly)

While I had recently hoped for this s/p reaching somewhere in the 50's p here in 2025; I'll now revise that to hoping for somewhere 40's p in 2025. But I definitely still like this as a buy and hold thru 25 and 26 ...and probably beyond too.. and hence I'm happy to sit patiently on my bet here.

Take Roxi's posting here with a slightly larger pinch of salt going forward.. still, well worth reading his posts, in fairness

The reserves are indeed the most standout thing .. and I agree this s/p is undervalued off the back of these .. ..But, towards balance, I offer that Roxi has been too bullish in his posting here

PS: As xtr have received 3m usd already thru 24, I'm ok with him not getting a more constrained overall 25 income and more later on in the overall payments period; what's in the kitty now and the latest agreed 25 payments will hopefully see him be more focused than scattergun this year....

Generally, now there's a more even flow of income across each year of the - revised - multi year contracted income period. .... which, on balance, I slightly prefer.

There's enough ammunition on Mr Colin Bird to keep even the Ukrainian army fully supplied for a long time, in fairness

...a minor thing towards showing flexibility... and I don't have an issue with this..

The selling spurts into the recent buying spurts is disappointing me here.

There will always be some selling as we go for all sorts of reasons, I get.. but given the company seems clearly to be turning a corner now and the s/p looks very low in that context, to me the selling pattern is starting to feel somewhat like a managing the s/p exercise (trying to minimise the chance of meaningful s/p gains here around now) ?

That said, I'm fine with being long/strong/patient here
