Fortunately, I've done well in the last two rallies here - via timely selling - and if/when there's another I expect I'll do well in that too .. not least because I have a low average versus the field here

Anyone getting newly involved around this price range here will have a plenty lower average than me granted.. and way, way lower than the field too..

(btw even if a handful buy in good size I expect this to move back towards 1p ish smartly enough off the back, even including some selling on the way to said 1p ish)

Generally, there was Jam a few years back here for those who sold into the spike - eg Mr Chef seemingly and me too - and while no Jam tomorrow here, literally.. there should be Jam some day here, for those with a low average versus the field, at least (.. eg sub 1.5 p)

A 1m share sell yesterday and 400k sell - so far - this morning.. at .50p ish..

I'll guess it's the same person.. and maybe a bit more to come still too?

I'm a bit surprised by this as we're about to come back 'into season' as this s/p is in the dirt on the floor..

Your moniker being GJ2020 reminded me that I've seen this at 7.5p ish in mid 2020 ish.. so while abject, the s/p is not at all time lows currently.

And two year ish later - mid 22 ish - it was v close to 40p.. and I patiently held my nerve back then and intend looking to do the same now .. in the hope something similar happens again.. it may not, I get.. but it absolutely could either imho

(fortunately I sold a bunch of these thru the 30's p which helps me be stoic, in fairness.. and, in case of confusion, I fully understand longterm PI's being livid with AK.. I'm pretty livid with him myself.. and clearly he's had a rank bad few years in charge here.. but it is also clear to me that the future could readily be much brighter here than it is at this moment in time.. although from playing this game widely / for a long time I understand anything can happen.. and luck is a big factor, as well as judgement)

PS My guess is that save.l is now more on side with African do business 'rules' and this should help bottom line progress occur more readily in Nigeria and elsewhere in Africa

The core Nigeria business is a very solid / growing one

Trade receivables might well soon enough see a good size tranche - late - payment that brings the total figure down meaningfully in one hit ( from a government controlled central fund .. as has happened previously..)

Chad arbitration might easily have a favourable to very favourable outcome

A decent sized and bottom line - very - favourable next acquisition might happen this year

If it's good enough for Mr Herman.. to top up here, then it's good enough for me!

Hence I've done so this morning.

And towards getting one up on The Hermanator, that was my second top up here this week.

Hopefully the tide is turning here soon/now

You've been good on the maths here for some time now - not least recently on the re scheduling effect of the revised Manica payment terms with MMP - so I'm happy to go with this as a good ballpark estimate.

And I'm comfortable with this number for this year: reasonable bandwidth while still necessitating good discipline....

Generally, I'm excited again here now.. and expect this s/p will - even if kicking and screaming - be dragged up as we go from here.

I also want to see Mr Bird add a bunch more in the open market here early in this drilling season.. If/when that happens I could see this s/p rallying punchily, smartly.

PS: I readily stand by 1.5 p + a share as fair value versus fundamentals here already now.. ie ahead of drilling ..(as 15m ish gbp market cap here instead of 5 m ish gbp market cap is readily justifiable)

If SYM 'can evidence significant and sustainable revenue growth and cash generation' then there would be lots more buyers of their shares on AIM, Troy.

Their performance as a business has been very poor so far, sadly. Hence why this s/p is in the dirt on the floor with no one buying any.

But I live in hope....

PS: If/when they had/have good bottom line news to give they would broadcast it quickly, I'm confident

I think AK has slowly been adding one of the missing ingredients to his skill set towards enabling him build out a successful African O&G Business:

Africa rules of engagement Savvy

This a very important ingredient to add to his determination, hard work orientation and general intelligence.

He also needs more luck on his side. And you can't learn that, granted.

Still, my instinct is, in the round, he has a good chance of building this into a very successful business in the end.

So I'm fine with sitting patiently on my current bet here for plenty of time yet.

Not just one, but two very progressive rns’s ..

plenty to look forward to generally in rest of 25 here…

(And this s/p can easily wake up decently as we go from here .. especially as the market cap is likely too low versus the fundamentals here )

Alternatively it was known TT were wanting out and had found a pre arranged block transaction for the job lot.. and while management may not have known the actual agreed price they knew it would very likely be very lowly and so were all for the primary matching that TT secondary placing price as a rule.. for their preferred now strategic holder..and themselves

Here's hoping for tomorrow, mind ..
