South Sudan has been a major set back no doubt, but there are clearly a bunch of potential bottom line accreditive catalysts in play going forward here.

And Chad arbitration could be a game changer in itself, on top. ( I'm in Zenith and Pantera.. and upcoming arbitration plays seem to be in haute vogue to me generally around now)

The cowboy 7p issuance behaviour will be forgotten as we go... and, looking forward, the current 12p ish s/p here feels cheap to me...

So I wouldn't be surprised if this rallies decently further as we go thru 2025..

That 7p secondary deal seeing a 7p primary issuance price will always stink to me..(well engineered so technically the FCA can't find issue, perhaps.. and perhaps some might say it's aligned with the 'rules' of the countries save.l look to do business in.. or some might even say Africa is rubbing off on AK after all his time there over recent years?

This 7p 'deal' tells me that Andrew Knot has lost most all interest in maintaining the trust of existing longterm PI's here, seemingly/sadly. And each longterm PI will decide in their own way how they should react to that.

I too am happy to wait until Chad arbitration plays out here.... and still understand there is significant potential across this company.... but, especially as it's business(es) in Africa, it's a very high risk play, with a wild ride par for the course.

So this could never be a big bet for me again ( I had sold down two thirds of my holding pre suspension .. fortunately .. wish I'd sold down more now... but who'd have known how badly this would play out at that suspended time )

Generally, the share price is the benchmark the game is played against.. and while I want to like the guy, his performance in terms of shareholder value has been, in the round, very - very -poor indeed so far, sadly.

My most potent point is not a strong one granted:

'ere's 'oping he somehow/somewhere gets lucky in 25 or 26 or 27 ...and that outweighs his sundry other missteps/wastefulness

More generally, he has hit the jackpot once before and that's much more than many Execs in this AIM space. And as a copper bull, I'm ok staying patient here.. not least as, one way or other, I believe this will go past 1p at some stage.

Buying more lottery tickets, statistically, gives you a bigger chance of a win, is a thought in my mind here now ? :-)

More helpfully, perhaps towards getting regular stimulating news flow back happening here, he's going for a Plan C and D... alongside a plan A and B (Zambia exploration/production over the next few years being A.. and POC rise bringing Bush back into play being B)

He certainly needs some visibly genuinely tangibly progressive happenings ahead of the AGM this summer..

the tailings being processed and - hopefully - turning a profit - plan c - and grow out such activity off the back can happen by then, comes into my mind to help there.. but he needs more than just that, clearly .. and so also some drilling in Zambia and some in Morocco in coming months towards him setting up a broad based news rich period from this spring thru Summer and Autumn towards - hopefully - getting some interest back from the market in this share.

PS: I also buy the idea that having less cash sitting on the books better avoids the possibility of raiders trying to takeover/ get him out the door .....

I still rate the guy, in fairness.. not least, if hard work counts for a lot (It often does imho)

But doing business in Africa is usually a nightmare as a rule..

(I've held a lot of African O&G ers over the years.. anything can happen .. a current eg of the anything good angle of that: Zenith Energy.. hence why I like the Chad arbitration possibilities a lot here for eg )

Hopefully he/us shareholders have some GOOD LUCK from here forward..

Keeping II's on side with this cheap raise will insure that AK can't be removed from his position here now -or for now maybe I'll go with instead - for sure IMHO

Nail on head re those receivables not being paid in a timely fashion being at the heart of this raise, indeed Tier .. (and, to one degree or other, it has been a thing forever here really)

All I can now do is be patient and hopeful from here forward now..
