they have a 33.33 per cent share in partnering health ltd with is front line GP services orientated in Hampshire and is looking to expand and will need hopefully new buildings etc going forward.. also they have a long history in primary care facilities builds including NHS builds so its far from a new area for them dibs...indeed its their core prior to this ederly care journey...and that elderly care facilities jouney has been somewhat of a mare for years now because of lack of contract closure.. and had complicated funding requirements that ate into any potential profits too.. as councils for eg were cash strapped forever etc .. so they've walked away from it and taken a decent bunch of money from MS in the process too and downsized staff nos - without redundancy - decently too..
I guess, you or I don't know the co. well enough to say with any authority what their prospects are in this primary healthcare facilities sector..and not really either in F! modular. ...so you using 'so poor' is akin to deramping imho...you may of course be right to sell up, only time will tell.. and I do understand why you chose to sell up.... (I sold a quarter my holding towards downsizing my exposure here and will hope for the best with the rest.)

The downside potential for s/p in a no sale scenario is significant and that’s what keeps it from rallying more ahead of any big announcement , I expect .. that said I’m disappointed this isn’t over 20 p now as punt on meaningful news soon money should be in the house now.. or at least coming in in next week or so, hopefully ..

elderly care housing sector business via Morgan Ashley had a decent pipeline but was very slow to convert into closures so far, at least.. so to step away from it seems a reasonable path, in the circumstances. The price achieved from MSI for that 50% is broadly the same as the price paid by them to enter the 50/50 JV in the first place.. that seems fair/decent to me. And there are cost savings to Ashley House from staff reductions and MS is also give them new intros to NHS primary care buildings business. Also F1 modular has plenty of potential. A period of re focus will be ongoing from Ashley House now,with early funding in hand too and a meaningfully lower baseline staff costs too..3m is a small market cap in this context imho so 6-7p s/p here would not be stretch at all.. but the next two financial updates will be important towards give a clearer handle on the new picture here now..

Equity Raise not required now thankfully .. and cash in hand to refocus the business for that alone surprised this hasn’t gone up more this morning .. maybe it will go up more thru day as it’s an under the radar stock

To guess 35p plus is very punchy, to guess that and 'OR NO SALE' on top is extremely punchy imho..

(Not least as management clearly want out, have little/no control over the pace of the development of many of the companies assets and it's clearly a buyers market: The market valued this share at 10-12p ahead of M&P offer, 35p plus is a 200% plus premium to that ..that's a lot for a buyer to explain to their shareholders, lenders. peers etc )

To me tomtom an equity raise is a last option for management here... and I think there's a good - maybe even very good - chance they won't have to.. more deal closures in Oct and/or Nov and/or Dec is optimal outcome obviously and solves the problem.. asset sales and/or borrowing are the next best outcome(s).. and the extract you quote below is about the asset sale(s) path imho.. and then there's a possible borrowing path too, I guess.. MS total buyout of Ashley House left field possibility too imho..

I'm tempted to buy more of these at this sub 5p s/p level.. their appalling historic delivery record on closing deals is stopping me though..

potential buyer entertainment might extend beyond the Bogota bars and restaurants.. might explain why all involved are taking their good time ahead of a - very hopefully - happy ending ?

( as well as being administrator for the now on notice of closing Woodford Equity Income Fund ) I think Link Fund Solutions are also the administrator of Woodford Patient Capital Trust. (WPCT) This has its own Independent management board who had employed Woodford Investment Management as Fund Manager for the Trust, but he is now no longer it's Fund Manager. ( this a listed Investment Trust and has its on Bulletin Board on LSE too btw)

My GUESS remains the Mtph holding is in WPCT and this latest TR-1 shows the administrators have transferred the holding into their legal entity from a Woodford Investment Management Legal entity: so the holdings has not been sold to other II's as I guessed/hoped yesterday. (it has simply been an administrator transfer exercise ) A new fund manager may, in due course. be appointed by the trust management board to oversee WPCT holdings and it would be up to them what they do with these mtph shares. ( alternatively I guess they could decide to close the trust too and sell up and reimburse from proceeds etc)

Ps; If all or some of the Mtph holding is held in the Woodford Equity Income Fund then I expect it would have to be sold on in an orderly fashion from January onwards by the same Link Administrators. (could be off market or in open market etc)

DYOR of course.. and it certainly has been a - very even - difficult stock most of the time in recent years.. although it was been good to me in my only previous involvement here via buying in mid in teens and selling most all out thru 20's a few years back.. And, again, the fundamentals are very strong here imho.. and even including difficult government backdrop - not least tax regime - and an II unloved sector I'd fancy this somewhat as a take over target if it stays sub 12p while delivering 3400 bopd and ongoingly beyond into early 2020... Touch wood, we could escape this woodfood mtph sell off nicely now George .. and agree if he was to sell even the remaining sub 5% holding into the open market it could bring this down meaningfully from here.. hopefully he doesn't and he may well not ..

That is some shout for one shout George... and has me laughing out loud, in truth.. and leads me to offer that NOBODY will EVER accuse you of having anything but an extraordinarily positive mental attitude towards this share !!!! And a raise at that price would be fabulous... and anything is possible, I guess.. but if you were to ask me to offer a per cent chance of that happening I'd generously - because I like you - go for one per cent :-)

(I'd be - very even - pleased if they got the next raise done at 6p or 7p btw and would guess the chances of that are say 25%.... and sub 5p would be at least that per cent chance too imho )

make that mkt cap of a pathetic £8m with no debts even.. and soon to be £7m etc.. perhaps

just did a top up to keep my average still in touching (ish) distance - ie around 25% down - still only have approx. 2k gbp in this now .. peanuts versus you guys, I expect.. not particularly sure why I'm in this.. just hard core betting with a slight view that I want more exposure to gold stocks..(my positions in xtr and pog are many multiples of this.. and I might small top up here twice more max on any further meaningful weakness eg .5p and .4p.. hopefully for you guys it doesn't go there )

How low can this go : zero.. but that's still reasonably unlikely imho, especially in next year to 18 months .. and there's always a chance of a spike at any stage ...on pump and dump, or on real good news or even on potential good news ..etc..

Towards finishing on a positive, If this was sold for 5p I'd very approx. 6 bag :-)

(from previous link) IF this name was in the Patient Capital Fund it seems that that fund specifically is being taken over by another FM instead of being shut down completely.. may have a bearing on any remaining holding that woodford Investment Management has here - max 5%, maybe less - or may not.. (could block sell that 'off market' to another II/II's too ..unlikely to be drip fed sold into market whatever is my guess,, very hopefully... and very thankfully)

ps Academic now - or soon as some more to sell perhaps - maybe, but these shares may well indeed have been held outside his Equity Income Fund as that won't start selling down til Jan as a notice period required before wind up starts.. I think?
