Viveka is the best content/knowledge poster here by a mile imho .. so his best guesstimates - and fully understood that guesstimates will vary widely eg George is still at the very bullish end of the spectrum I'd offer- at asset value here are the ones I believe in most.

So I'm comfortable that this s/p could go much higher from here before it gets anywhere near fair value versus the assets.

But we need more PI's to actually be aware of this company in the first place, as it's way under most radars still.

What makes me laugh is AK could have simply said something along the lines of 'in spite of not yet collecting this debt we have still managed to bank these significant monies over the periods'

On reflection I agree with your wording here Interzone versus my 'legacy' wording in my posts this late afternoon.

I'd just assumed, as mentioned in that previously much discussed Cable article, it was the monies owing and only small part paid by Calabar for period between Jan to Sept. 19. It might be - as no's so similar - but it doesn't have to be those exact monies from that exact time period.

With the monies that have actually been banked for 2019 and for so far in 2020, the bottom line still looks very good to me here?

And hopefully this legacy debt can, one way or other, eventually be collected and added in on top to our bank account to make the bottom line look much better again?

that payment owing is legacy situation from before the SAVE takeover as I understand it Swindon? So the IR team might well be fully correct in saying the co. have been getting paid for the gas it delivers (since SAVE completed this acquisition) ?

But they collected a lot of payments last year and a lot so far this year and still hopefully, one way or other, eventually get to collect on top too.

ie Impressive revenue especially considering they haven't even collected this payment yet ?

as I guessed yesterday this gets a bit more complicated over 50p as some selling kicks in too..

but not much selling at in the 40's or 50's p I'd guess... as vast majority of existing shareholders have averages above/ well above that .. and there's now a clear incentive to at least hold and maybe average down too ahead of whatever part / full sale news we, in due course, will get..

And anybody who comes in as a new buyer anywhere around these levels is getting in at relatively very low levels versus most all medium /long term holders here...

Generally, given the assets here are hopefully worth way more than £1 and this is approx. 50p as I type, I expect plenty more action/volatility to come here in May and beyond.....

This should be MUCH higher already today.. towards money where mouth is, I've done two top ups in mid to late 8'sp this morning, rude not to at these prices … even if some seller has created overhang in short term here, in due course I expect this will go up nicely..

Can someone help me on how that December Cable article talked about $66 m of outstanding Invoices from Accugas to Calibar sits alongside the $96m total cash collections from Nigerian assets since transaction completed in Nov 19 ?

Good shout bbr : 46p here in the end actually today (43p quoted above here now is incorrect)

I see this UK price as the real thing far more than the US, as the vast majority of stock is listed here.

So more or less to that 50p target with very little selling noise...not surprising at all given the vast majority of holders here have averages above/way above/way way above 50p

(50p is still decently less than 3p old money... and the last big raise(s) were around 4p old money and many legacy shareholders are miles above that)

May start to get more complicated soon(ish) as sells will become a feature as well as buys.. but there's so little stock in free float that this can go much higher easily enough if there's meaningful buying demand.. and hopefully mtph's recent appearance on the daily gains leader board is waking more up to even knowing of this stocks existence.. also some long term holders can average down hugely by buying at anything near 50p.

Generally, there's a very good argument that fair value of the assets here is WAY more than 100p ... so lots of room for upside here from 50p imho.

You're the best content poster here by a mile ….and the worst share price predictor here by a mile, so far at least .. very undeserving the latter given the earlier, granted... and my guess is this will go at least somewhat - and hopefully a lot - your way in the end …..but it always ends up all about the share price.

The beauiful numbers that are endlessly bandied about are all projections/forecasts.

This is Nigeria: the culture is one of doing a creditor a favour by settling your bill at the best of times.. and these, sadly, are a very long way from the best of times: the share price isn't 8p for no reason.

Altogether, on a short term view I somewhat believe and on a medium term view I meaningfully believe.

That's a great sentence Paul C, and the last part of it has me wondering if you ate a small portion of dictionary for breakfast !

small buying so far today and more to come as we go too... any ride up past 50p would be uninterupted by selling so few in the money anywhere near there. Also there's a clear carrot for holding here for months now instead of pump and dump.

Generally, its about building out positions in anticipation of a buy out of some or all of the company in the coming months.

And I reckon there are only a handful of holders with semi decent positions - 5kgbp +- and averages under 60p (that's 3 p old money only)

So anyone newly buying in here under 60p should hopefully be in good/great shape.. and long term holders are realising they need to act quickly to get good bang for buck in easily bringing higher averages meaningfully down too.

Anyone in here with under 60p average will have a low average price versus most here .. and a conpany outright sale price should be multiples of that too.

More existing holders averaging down here still to play out and new holders still to get involved too imho

(my GUESS is that this has a good ways up to go from here and so I was hoping that you weren't warming up towards giving us the up to 10 'BOOM' type posts a day like Taff used do .. I think he was paid per post more than per word, in fairness :-))

I've just looked at your posting history on the likes of Tanfield and a few others too and it is just as inane as here.. you are remarkably consistent, in fairness !

(I've only ever filtered one guy on these BB's - TaffEvans, for endless inane posting - and you remind me of him....but in fairness to him, he had some semblance of content sometimes so I am doing him a bit of a disservice in saying that :-))

Just small topped up again and am open to doing one more under 30p towards bring my average down that small bit further.

The more I think about it, this has become a very compelling opportunity NOW......not least as there are very few shares in free float here and so half decent buying pressure will push this s/p up quickly I expect.

CMS Medical Venture Investment (HK) Limited & A&B (HK) Company Limited as linked co's together hold just under 45% of MTPH.. when you think the multiples of current s/p they paid for that stake - which was still peanuts for them then - and given they're well down the road here already ...it's got to be tempting for them to take the rest out now ? A bid for remaining 56% at multiples of current s/p would again be just small change for them?

(Also the Link Fund holding will be open to a half decent price to clear out of its legacy Woodford lot, as its the only way out for it.)
