thanks Ocams and agreed the spreadex notification is a long play ( CFD long perhaps)

but if big buyer(s) around these levels and s/p not rising that means big sellers too... again, a big surprise /shock to me ..

a left field thought that may be way off granted: MM's got left with a big bunch of these on their books through recent rally/crash and they're prepared to off load plenty at a low price now ?

Underlying stock ownership could be towards CFD spreadex client activity.... spreadex takes physical ownership of shares towards facilitating client(s) playing long or short without the physical ownership ( and clients get to use the margin 'opportunities' of playing via spreadex etc ) ?

Generally, players would go long MTPH at current - mid 20's p - levels far more than go short it, is my guess... and there is certainly active trading going on here recently.... so it surprises me this s/p isn't moving more outside the 23 to 26p range already...

I need help interpreting this spreadex RNS please.. my GUESS is they've now taken ownership of a chunk of stock... which would allow them facilitate shorting by customers - or proprietarily perhaps - if/when required ?

that said I just now notice a holding notification posted now by spreadex uk this morning :-) .. all I need to do now is interpret what correctly...

Proper shorting not a thing here i'd guess? ( spreadbetting shorting here I don't know about .. but that's synthetic and not real ? )

my conclusion is simply that there's a somewhat meaningful seller around these levels.. that surprises me a lot ..they have to be selling at a loss as this is just about at all time lows ( 18/19p was that.... but that was just touched on and bought into quickly - by me for eg and even small size buying moved it back up smartly - and hopefully this seller clears soon.. this could easily rally then.. it tried to rally yesterday but that selling stopped it quickly, unfortunately)

This share price at just over 1p old money is extremely low now imho ( not to say it cant go lower .. this is AIM after all )

I just topped up towards doing my bit..

We'll know we're on for a decent rally if we get 'haso' back here, I guess

I listened to the podcast and am very surprised he didn't focus on the significant income to come relatively soon from the MMP fairbride 'ard project.. confusing and disappointing to me..

Hopefully today marks the beginning of a sustainably positive s/p journey ..

I was out entirely but bought a small amount a few weeks back at 9p ish, out of nostalgia - this has been good to me through range trading a few times now - and will add some more later today - around 13p hopefully - and now see a justification for building out a somewhat decent sized position here again, slowly..

As well as range trading opportunity again here, if this companies tech comes properly into favour the s/p could of course go very large too.... which would be great to see for those who have shown huge perseverance and loyalty here: Here's to these shares being puppies instead of doggies!

My guess is Stamp's first priority is to make sure the remaining - core Cardiff operation - staff - himself included of course - are not left 'high and dry' ... and the latest raise at an all in an awfully poor rate is very acceptable in his mind to that end..

I'd also guess the sale process will, one way or other, have staff as a key priority too..

eg1 those jobs being maintained by a new owner will justify the selling off the companies assets at a 'low' value.... eg2 himself doing well one way or other out of it.. a big salary in a taking over firm... or a big payoff etc

While maybe not quite a text book eg, I see this company as coming under the umbrella of AIM lifestyle company..

So to me the best outcome left here is actually an outright sale and pretty quickly .. as all that will happen otherwise is the further shareholder value erosion until nothing left ..

so best I small top up in the morning then compass.. which I have just done at 2.75p ..which feels a good price (maybe :-))

I'd kept a small placeholder holding here as I still somewhat believe...and will now look to build that out somewhat... but slowly.... more hope than expectation granted.. and averaging down a lot with small addition(s) is the best reason I can give for doing it..

The thing that's going to have most impact by far on this s/p is people getting involved in anticipation of some sort of sale here in for eg second half 2020, imho..

And that might encourage the achievement of asset/company sale(s) higher price in itself, hopefully...

Given past performance here, my assumption is MTX110 would not be delivered in the sort of timeframes Stamp alluded too in that podcast.. and while I understand some milestone achievements along the path to its delivery could give a boost to the s/p, I fear those rallies might easily be sold into and so peter out.

To me, involvement in this stock for many from here forward is very much about company or asset sale(s) soon enough.. and that in itself could again cause plenty more to get involved here again.. and that can see punchy rises for sure.. (eg if George hadn't been a big seller into the recent rally - his prerogative entirely of course - this could have gone significantly higher than 70p I'd guess.. and even including retraces a higher bottom would likely result whatever..)

The raise was a kick in the nXts granted.. but that's done now, at least.. so roll on another rally here asap (and a rally can of course happen again quickly here)

maybe KRSS is trying to talk the price down while loading up on the side :-)

this s/p is on the move again ... decently on up now please..

I have reasonably high and slowly growing hopes that this will get taken out for an at least a decent price sooner rather than later eg by Nov 2020 ( note: I didn't include a year !!)..

I will likely add more again here in due course too.. it's just about timing.. I wouldn't for eg be taken a back by one more small raise here ahead a good news announcement

That podcast was first time I'd heard Stamp and I was very impressed, Viveka.

A big take away I have from it is that this company is absolutely for sale right now in its entirety or constituent part(s) instead ( he even noted it as one of the three reasons people should focus on mtph at the end )

And my instinct is that I do not feel a big offer for the lot or a part would be required by him either.... and I can still easily see some sort of all/part sale happening in second half 2020. (eg 100 to 150 p would be a very acceptable outcome for the lot for Stamp I'd guess )

PS: For people who invest to see human life value enhancing trial drugs/technologies get to market asap to save lives, I offer that I feel that MTX110 - and probably any /all of the rest of the stable too - may well get to market more quickly in the hands of a better quality/bigger pharma/bio company

....so still awaiting EU confirmation of MTPH as an SME and hence they are still awaiting receipt of that grant is the safest assumption, I suppose… but the podcast is very recent and he has said that in that that they will be starting phase 2 with those two leading European children's brain cancer hospitals - Kinder... Zurich /Princess Maxima Utrecht - so that's what I'm going with..

Their delivery technologies are the jewel assets here anyway imho .. and any sort of licensing /jv etc can happen at any time around them ?

Also, very importantly, lets not forget there is still a for sale process ongoing here.. and if the assets are very good, like you especially believe, then any or all of them could still be bought at any time, potentially ? ( and he was just hedging his bets with this raise, as the opportunity presented itself)
